There are few things that get me more excited than my wife telling me she emailed my mom for a recipe.

Can you have your wife talk to my wife about this? May help out on the cooking mishaps- she can follow directions.

Edit: are we really to believe what the KCNA says though? Theres more to the story that we're not getting here.

Hope the kid is okay

What links are you talking about? I didn't mention anything about links, and didn't mean to imply anything about them either.

Interesting links, with interesting content shared with context is what we're going for here.

I don't think we'll need to throw an upset or two in the ACCs to "salvage a decent season." If we win 6 ACC games that will be more than a decent season, based on the 2 ACC wins each of the past two seasons.

Crock pot. 1/3 cup vinegar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 bottle bbq sauce. Salt, pepper, garlic, paprika, oregano, ground ginger. Cook on high for 4 hours, then low for 2. It's my mom's recipe. There are few things that get me more excited than my wife telling me she emailed my mom for a recipe.

Agreed, and there is room for one more recruiting position in this layout.

I see Scott is now officially DT coach and Wiles is DE coach. That's an interesting division.

And it seems we are out thinking ourselves with Burden at RB and Wiggins at WR. The logic of that assignment eludes me. Or alludes me. Whatever, words.

I think Ben could work on his delivery, it's very lord on high to us non paywall peons. Info might be great just needs to work on how he delivers it.

I hope you aren't talking about Ben. He clearly reads 247s pay content and very respectfully adds points in recruiting discussions that provide the rough outline of the insiders without giving too much away. That is very much value added to me.

I don't pay for recruiting info, but you can pick up a lot for free on 247s board. You can hover over any pay topic and get the first 40 words or so and get the gist. And the free posts often paint the picture of the pay material.

This weekend Ill finish off the cases of Hofbrau Oktoberfest I bought back in September (I bought 6 cases).

I bought my 2 year old a shovel so he can come outside and "help" me shovel the snow as well.

Allen is rushing his shot a little too much. You can see it in that final shot, where he just gets a little too quick, and when he pulls up to shoot, he's still moving forward and his momentum was the difference between the shot going in and clanging off the back rim. Hopefully, with some more experience, eventually it'll slow down and he won't be playing so fast and the game will slow down for him, and once that happens, I have all the faith in the world he'll be an absolute lights out shooter.

I guess I get this, but from someone who doesn't really go to any other VT sports-related sites, I find those links interesting and useful because I wouldn't otherwise see them.

The only thing noteworthy about Maryland football is that they have the most obnoxious jerseys in college football. Won two championships 65 years ago (and haven't been close to getting back since), only won one ACC championship in the past 30 years. Hasn't graduated a hall of fame (or on track to be one) NFL player in 40 years. They have the one of the most obnoxious fan bases in college sports. They can go fuck themselves.

Oh, and college park sucks balls.

OT but since Cantor and Guerry deal with recruiting here is my problem, they do not match the rest of the staff as far as pictures go on Hokiesports.com. As a person with OCD I am appalled, I love the maroon VT shirts they are more blue collar and everyone is on the same page per se. But the last 2 pictures make the whole thing an eye sore. I realize nobody else cares so sorry but had to put this out there! Here is the link for some who are lost, http://www.hokiesports.com/football/coaches/

I spent the night in a blizzard in State College. In a Ford Escort. I made it all the way to the sister's driveway from Saratoga Springs, NY.

The houses are well insulated enough that knocking on the door is apparently not always effective.

From the sound of it, the building codes for barns are much less stringent. Stay calm... This too shall pass.

Scored 35 on the quickie (Aaron Rodgers),
and got 42 on the longer one (Blaine Gabbert).

Can't complain with those results, I suppose.

Green is quickly disappearing. Maryland looks to be in worse shape than Virginia. I suppose that's not all that surprising. Best of luck to everyone.

On another note about Coach Buzz, he's really gained some fans from other fan bases. I keep hearing from VMI alums expressing their admiration for him, especially when his lessons on the National Anthem circulated the web.
