Anyone south of us will be A-OK and blacksburg will be fine on the snow department it's just prospects coming south particularly from new England or anyone that would have to fly across the US might have some sort of flight delays...hopefully it all works out though
we did this in high school golf. but we kept 1 playing 1 and 2 playing 2. then we would mix up 3 - 6 so that 5 and 6 played 3 and 4. psychologically, me playing the 5's improved my game dramatically. but as you said, we were never winning outright so didn't really matter.
It gets me right in the feels that such a great actor will only be remember by younger people for those crappy kids movies....

Where would we be if he was the type of coach that believed inspirational movie-like speeches would impact players more than answering some media questions immediately after the game, right? certainly not playing like this.
Still beats the crap out of Vaaahh Tech.
Nice, but more importantly we have held the Commonwealth Cup for over 12 years...
The first play on his highlight is a game winning catch with 0:00 on the clock. It was an unbelievable catch in person!

Disagree about Marcus Davis 100%. He should have been benched and Corey Fuller should have been playing more.

"epileptic toddler" was just too perfect. Besides, now we have the staff in place, the recruiting stretch run started 20 min ago, and the smell of ShockWave's dirty diaper has subsided, so I figured, If not now, when?

We did this all the time when I played in High School. There were rules against it but we still sucked and lost so we didn't get in trouble.
Even making that UVA team is an incredible accomplishment, congrats to him for his success. I really am cautiously optimistic about this year though, the only worry is how the loss of Koontz affects the depth of the ladder.
IMO we need one more player to step up and take control of the 4 spot to truly compete

For the most part I think it is an honor system. No recruits would want to play on a ladder where their coach prevents them from playing the best. I do have my heavy suspicions about whether Contini is truly our best singles player.
