Hey now don't mock the weather!

But really it's about to get a lot more chilly these next few weeks across the country. I've always wondered if that impacts a recruits visit. Having sunshine and 60 degree temperatures in january

New offers, commitments, decommitments, etc... deserve their own thread.

So you wanna talk about the weather? /s

I love the idea of a monthly post to keep the recruiting posts from becoming huge. I generally read and post on mobile and huge numbers of comments get slow on my phone.

Then again, we also used him in a variety of ways, so does it really make a difference. I think he needs to get a feel for how he might be used in the NFL and he probably had some advice on that from someone to want to disagree with the NFL assessment. The NFL assessment probably looks at him strictly as a Tight end where as he is probably more of a Hybrid Receiver/Tight end and that would mean he could be more valuable. I still think he needs to improve in finishing plays, be a little better on some discipline issues and hopefully not have any off-field issues. If you asked me now, I think NFL is the way to go.

Thanks for the clarification - that is part of what I worry about. Does it help his TE stock if he does not play TE?

looking into it it sounds like he wants to take all his official visits... don't know but PURE SPECULATION Herman said if you want to take more official visits you will have to decommit

just committed in December.. but yes has visits with Miami 15th, Vandy 22nd & Penn State 29th

He will have taken 4 official visits after Penn State's so he would have 1 left.. does VT make that last visit

He has a lot of OV scheduled in the coming weeks as well, might not be too firm on Michigan

If Bucky comes back, he will be in the slot or aligned as an X. He doesn't fit how Fuente uses an Hback at all.

He needs to have a heart to heart with Fuente. Are we going to use a tight end every down? I did not think being a hybrid player helped his stock as much as if we used him more as real tight end. If he is not practicing mostly tight end, is his game improving as much as it would in an NFL system? Brewer seem to make more bad throws than good when he targeted Bucky as wide receiver. I'd like to see him stay, but I want him to do whats best for him. Does Bucky trust Fuente to be as honest with him as Beamer would have been? I hate that the NFL likes using college football as a free development league.

Between Benedictine in Richmond and Catholic Schools in NOVA and Tidewater they may get 8 games but some of them would not be elite teams. From Benedictine we traveled to NOVA, Tidewater, Raleigh, Charlotte, Mountains and MD to get games every year, plus playing at least one public school in Richmobd area.

Bleacherreport articles are usually garbage and this one is no exception

I read this with a grain of salt. writer just discounted everyone in front of bucky for what seemed like his own personal agenda.

bucky is listed as the 6th best TE prospect on here and the 1st TE not being drafter till late in the 3rd round. that makes him a early 5th rounder or later at best.

There are numerous D1 recruits still on the OL roster in addition to the RB. Part of Scott's suspension was related to alleged recruiting of local talent and the allure was his ability / infrastructure to get maximum exposure for the kids to get the best scholarship possible.

Will be interesting to see who else may follow and how the OL program evolves or declines. I believe Scott quickly built this program after Beatty left Landstown.
