Is that coaching, or just where our players are at right now?

Primarily because we put players on them that were not capable of handling either of their size. We allowed ourselves to be mismatched regularly in this game.

I rarely ever post here, but I lurk often and read the insight provided by others. While I think you were originally attempting to add to the conversation, you have grown extremely condescending and arrogant. I do not subscribe to paysites (ie 247), but your links to articles add no value here and I agree with what others have said, it does come off as trying to advertise for them, as if you work there.

Frankly, I've grown tired of seeing your inflammatory posts litter the boards.

The difference there is the quality of roster we are trying to compare. You had a National Championship type roster full of experienced players that have other experiences to fall back on to see the difference and learn a great deal from losing to us.

In this case you have a roster of first or second year players that it was readily apparent were not figuring it out in this game that dont have the experience of an UNC roster to balance it against. I dont think its a learning environment when you continue to let the game go 100 mph for these guys when you have the opportunity to pull them back out, point out a few basic corrections, and then see if they learned from it.

I have more of a problem with the roster that was on the floor though. When its obvious the opponent is using size against us and we fail to put out our bigger lineup to counteract whats allowing them to score consistently throughout the game than I put it on the coach rather than the players. No way Seth Allen should have ever been lined up against Bembry but it happened at least four times in the game and led to three scores.

Then since it isn't against rules I'll keep doing what I'm doing. Since you are only policing because there are some cry babies on this board, that are mad I won't give them the scoops I pay for, for free. You can't pick and choose your targets, I will stop posting the links when there are clear guidelines and rules against it and every other pay site link has been taken down and not allowed on this board.

I would argue public money or student fees.

I just skimmed the article, but I'd imagine the majority of the funding is coming from donations, no? Clemson actually has a really cool student donor club called IPTAY (I Pay Ten A Year). It's was originally a $10 fee (now it's more I think), and students get 'donor' perks (Source: 4 of my good friends are Clemson grads). I don't think Clemson has mandatory athletic fees.

Unpopular Opinion: I think it's absolutely ridiculous that schools are able to charge students hundreds of dollars in athletics fees when the majority of students do not regularly (if at all) attend sporting events. If I didn't attend any sporting events but still had to pay athletic fees down at Clemson, this would light a fire under my ass.

It just the way things work, whether it be taxes or athletic fees - everyone is force to pay so we can improve quality of life for the majority. If you don't want to pay athletic fees, than select a university where athletics are less of a focus, or a fee isn't charged.
