I didnt expect us to win this game today but I also didnt expect Buzz to let things spiral the way they did. There were several basic changes he could have made, especially on the defensive end and it could have changed the entire face of this game but I saw little to no adjustments in style of play the entire game and so the small problems got worse and the large problems snowballed out of control. I just have to hope that Blackshear doesnt have any long term effects from the head to head contact he took today. That could make this season very long indeed.

Agree and disagree on this. I agree that I hate that the final days of Beamer's tenure on here is having this kind of distraction. But at the same time, policing ourselves, and having an open dialogue on what is and is not acceptable on here is needed to keep TKP as good a site as it is. So while we all hate these discussions, they are necessary in the grand scheme, even if the timing sucks.

Then don't. And there is no viable or reasonable way to police what everyone says. The guidelines state no copying and pasting of people's articles from premium sites. We can't be held accountable for what other people, who might have other sources of information, might say. Just because someone says the same thing that happens to be posted on 24/7, ESPN Insider, etc. does not mean they necessarily read it there and posted it here to steal it. Maybe they did, but it can't be proven.

He didnt even really let Blackshear and Leday play together as bigs today so not seeing Pierce or Henry is no surprise. Blackshear only got 14 minutes on the floor today and four minutes of that was without Leday. We got outrebounded 48-32 because our bigs were not even in the lane for a good portion of the game because they allowed St Joes to draw them outside constantly in the man to man defense we were attempting to play. If he continues to play like that we are going to get manhandled in the ACC slate by just about everyone.

Buzz needed to slow that whole thing down by going to a zone, keeping our bigs down low. On offense we needed essentially the same thing but instead Buzz had them running the four guards around the perimeter with one big man down low for most of the game.

This game was frustrating any way you look at it. It wasnt a good developmental tool, it wasnt a well played game, it wasnt a chance to experiment with different approaches. It was just bad all around today. Hopefully they watch tape and see how often they got beat man to man and consider some zone defense at a minimum.

Well, yeah. I mean, this is the internet. But if we're flirting with 500 yards a game and someone ridicules our use of jet sweeps, I'm guessing the vocal majority here will rise up and collectively smack them down.

Every Damn day I see new post to this and everytime I get suckered in... I know the holidays are depressing to many but for the love of God take all this shit somewhere else so that the others can actually enjoy these last few days under Beamer's care, while keeping up with real recruiting news. This is not to time to subject many to having to listen to the back and forths of trivial nonsense about who knows what and where they got it from.

And on the other side quit being an arrogant ass know it all, We already have enough of them to deal with on a daily basis, they are called UVA fans! Drink more and type less bullshit, its the gift that keeps on giving all year long!

I can go right now and find other premium content on here this website that's why I thought it was ok especially after reading the guidelines. So let me get this straight you can post premium sites as long as you steal their material and put it in your own words. Good to know. I won't be doing that, it is bullshit.

I believe it will fly as long as it's open to all student-athletes, under a "therapeutic/stress reduction" type claim. We can argue that's a bullshit justification (and it is), but they could at least put together an argument that the increased stresses of being a student athlete requires some place where they can blow off steam. But there is absolutely no way in hell this stands up if they honestly try to say only football players can use it.

Well, this is what happens when you have a young team. Hopefully, we learn from this and move forward and get better. There is too much talent on this roster to get run out of gyms like that by teams like that. Just a bad day.

A couple hours of my life I will never get back. Head scratching game from start to finish.

Their version of Joey Galloway getting to score on us and we continue to throw the ball away even against scrubs. Perfect way to end this debacle.
