Not to mention he STILL hasn't won any games!
The difference being that today was really the first day Junior College football players can sign their letters-of-intent for their respective schools.
The No. 1 rated quarterback according to the 247Sports Composite and No. 8 player overall in Trinity Valley Community College's Jerod Evans committed to Virginia Tech during his Dec. 11 official, choosing the Hokies over Missouri.

Am I the only one that still likes Motley to win that competition?
Motley had similar stats to Brewer even before the benefit of McMillian being the sure-fire back. Sure he isn't Fuente's guy, but I think his familiarity with the weapons gives him a leg up on the competition.
Evans will for sure push Motley, but I still think he takes a year to get in the flow of real college football.
Durkin has to move to TE right?
Lawson has the tools, but the recent comments suggest to me that he isn't quite ready to play savior just yet.
Jackson will for sure redshirt, as I still say Lawson should have.
Yes, and in doing so pried the coveted title of "Useless F" away from USF.

UCF did and have a new coach.
5. Have said second rate writer bash the conference for a couple years with baseless claims.
6. Without reason, promote said second rate writer to a position covering the college football playoff.
7. Remember that you're ESPN and the SEC is the only conference that matters because you say so.

# | TJ Jackson Follows Love of Football, Fondness of "Hitting People" to Virginia Tech I can give a little more information on TJ. I know him from when he was a sophomore at Fuqua. Fuqua(formerly Prince Edward Academy) is a small private school in Farmville, VA. I saw all of his football and basketball games in 2013, my daughter is a cheerleader. He started all year at DE and TE in football and center in basketball as a sophomore. His junior year he transferred to Wesleyan in NC because he wanted to concentrate on basketball. This year he came back to VA and was going to go back to Fuqua. The administration at the school had change and also the scholorship/financial aid program so he ended up at Cumberland at the public school. Hope this helps explain a little better about why 3 different schools in 3 years.
I will not try to give you an evaluation of TJ, there are much better people on TKP than me to do that. I can only comment on how he played 2 years ago. He was a good athlete and quick. He was a great TE! Of course he was only about 250 then. He did not face the competition like you see in 757 or NOVA but the year he played for Fuqua they lost the State VISAA(Va Independent School Athletic Asso) Division 4 championship on the last play of the game.
The one thing I can say is TJ is a great kid. He comes from a good family and I have no doubt will make a great Hokie.
That was mind boggling. I think it was Chris Brown (smartfootball) that pointed out during the Baylor/Texas game that Baylor when they lost all their qbs adjusted to an old single wing and made the best of what they had, and mentioned the Ryan Lindley debacle as a counterexample of just stubbornly attempting to the do the same thing with a piece that won't work.
I don't know. Bruce Arians is a great coach. Not sure he would have left Logan on the bench if he thought he would have been better. The NFL is all money and people get fired over losses. That was the biggest sign to me that Bruce Arains no longer thought Logan was an NFL QB.
I'm still disturbed by the fact that Bruce Arians was willing to let Ryan Lindley set football back 75 years in that playoff game vs Carolina and didn't even give Logan a second look. I get that Logan probably "wasn't ready" but I can pretty much guarantee that it wasn't getting worse than Ryan Lindley that night.

Didn't they go... 0-12? Or was that some other school?

Family, it's important, especially to his parents I'd assume.

Except the kid doesn't look real psyched to be in the picture to me.
