oh thats tough, Id go jeffery

my gut for you says

Peterson Hightower
Johnson Baldwin Jeffery

who are the bears playing this week?

In the Sam Rogers Conference I'm going down in flames in the consolation bracket, but in my other league I'm in the final four and trying to settle on a lineup for week 15. non-PPR

My main conundrum is the FLEX spot (WR or RB)
A. Jeffery (WR, CHI) gets a lot of targets and scoring has been picking up after a mid-season lull
*or*
T. Hightower (RB, NO) took over for Ingram to the tune of 15.5 points, favorable matchup against DET.

--
RB1: A. Peterson (MIN)
RB2: D. Freeman (ATL) - slumping lately.. is he worth benching for Hightower at RB2 and/or Jeffery at FLEX?
WR1: C. Johnson (DET) - down year but Megatron plays the Saints this week...
WR2: D. Baldwin (SEA)

got caught up watching some of that game. A few observations

1) Ore was sooo quick and made cuts off his blockers very well. Even acknowledged a great block by Harper#81
2) Our DL was a wrecking crew
3) Those uniforms need to make a comeback

i wish I could find the article that was written about whether ECU considered VT their rivals. It quotes Ruffin McNeil's post game comments after the victories where he would always thank Beamer for allowing them the opportunity to beat Virginia Tech. Then he goes and coaches for UVA. What a jerk

FWIW VT and SCAR 247 insiders seem fairly confident he is sticking with VT. South Carolina not having much offensive staff has to be a big role as well, at this point he wouldn't even meet the coach he would be playing for if he wants to enroll early

I'm not playing thread nazi, and I'm certainly not trying to shut any conversation here down. It just seems completely random to post this right now. So I was looking for some context.

I mean, it's been a pretty well known fact (and long running joke) that this series is extended indefinitely.

My least favorite game of the year. If it's taken off the schedule every year it's supposed to happen, we have one open slot every year to play an OOC game that's worth a damn. If we beat ECU, great, we were supposed to. If we lose, we just lost to ECU.

This is a sports site and football season is almost over. Does he really need an excuse to post a thread? I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but it seems recently as TKP has gotten bigger(and better) that a lot of guys try and act superior and tight ass when someone either post a three or has a response that doesn't jive well with them. Just something I've witnessed this year on the site.

"He's the 4* OT and 5th overall JUCO player in the nation (Jerod Evans was 8th) that decided to delay signing his NLI today and to schedule a visit in Blacksburg after the dead period."

Well, well, well now! I get home and find this little gem right off the bat.
Calls for a lil sumpin sumpin

Probably right. But Malcolm Pridgeon very well could. He's the 4* OT and 5th overall JUCO player in the nation (Jerod Evans was 8th) that decided to delay signing his NLI today and to schedule a visit in Blacksburg after the dead period.

6'8" 303lbs with 29 offers from Bama, Ohio St, Baylor, and everybody else in the country.

I'm just curious....what prompted this topic now? As VTGuitarMan pointed out, that horse is often flogged, especially in mid-September of the last two years.

The only explanation for the ridiculous extention Whit signed with them is that in exchange, Ruffin McNeill would have to be fired to get a position on lolUVAs staff in order to carry out espionage and sabotage the program from the inside. It's genius!! Whitt strikes again!!

I applaud BYU for sticking to their religious beliefs, before winning football games. That's extremely respectable. My question is, why do they accept players outside who are not LDS but not coaches? Perhaps leadership? It's seems off that they'd let one slide and not the other?

ECU is a respectable program. Since 2006, they've only missed two bowls--both by one game. It's not sexy. I'd prefer us to play different teams every two years. I just like diversity. But in this playoff age, you need games like this. The AAC is gaining respect. ECU is usually top half. A road win against ECU looks a lot better than a home win against Kent State. The way our non-conf is lined up, we ECU is good enough for SOS in regards to playoffs, which should be our ambition soon under Fuente.
