reading that article reminded me why I came to TKP and never looked back...
Lets run a 3 QB formation. #wecanmakeitwork
His house in Memphis is up for sell right now if you want to make his transition faster...
I don't think we could have obtained a more classier guy to go along with him being the top P5 coaching hire.
I wanna say April 23
"I'll be at home in Memphis"
... o.O When will he move to his home in Blacksburg?
Or when Abrams stops lens flaring it up

# | New Head Hokie Justin Fuente Lays Out His QB Preferences, Plans for Staff Transition Somewhat related note - when is the spring game? I know VT usually schedules the spring game and practices well in advance (because it usually is scheduled around Spring Family Weekend) but spring practices are usually at the discretion of the staff. Don't know if Fuente would change that.
Thanks Alex! Great write up.
I'm assuming he has an agent in his ear telling him how great he is. IMHO unless Fuente has meet with him and told him it wouldn't be a big piece of the chess set, it would be in his best interest to stay. He still has A LOT to learn and improve. Plus, with the promise of the new system he could be poised for a huge season (improving his stock).
This one feels like a Shyrone Stith situation to me (he was told he would be an early round pick, decided to leave, was a 7th round pick, only played 3 years). Meantime, the year he left, Lee Suggs lead the nation in scoring.
Thanks again for running this thing!!
The Fuller conference championship is going to taste delicious. Brace yourself Catticus' Finches!

Not bad for the worst head coach in the Coastal, according to Matt Fortuna
Great write up. Love seeing all this content from TKP even in this "down time".
When Michael Bay stops blowing shit up..
A post on Reddit about Jar Jar blew my freaking mind. If you haven't read it yet, please invest the time in the Darth Jar Jar Theory.
Will Fuller is nuts. I wish we could have played ND this year to see the Fuller-on-Fuller action. Epic Battle of the Titans for the Ages!
This was my thought, too. If you know you're bad and you're near retirement, bailing seems like an option to many coaches.
I suppose I was the last one to read this, and everyone else already knows Jar Jar was actually a Sith Lord
I'm not sure they're going to get Bennett. Ryan announced he was going to retire back in June, then decided a week or so later that he would coach one more year after all. While all this was going on, Bennett quietly signed a contract extension that wasn't announced until some time later, if I'm remembering the sequence of events correctly. If TB was going to return to Wiscy, it would've happened back in June, I believe. I'm afraid we're probably stuck with him in our backyard for the foreseeable future.
McShay's Mock Draft 1.0 just came out and he projects Kendall to go #21 to Indy. FWIW-he has two fullers in the first round with Will going to Cincy.
so when are we getting the Jar Jar spinoff?

UVA can pay as much or more than Wisconsin
You sure about that? Wisconsin seems to always rank in the top 5 for athletic revenues. In 2014, they were #2 at $149 million. (http://www.businessinsider.com/texas-revenue-college-sports-2014-9) Virginia did not crack the top 20.
I would hope that the New Order isn't so dumb as to go anywhere near the forest moon of Endor given their failures there in the past. So I kinda doubt we see Ewoks. Now Jawas, on the other hand...
One player doesn't make a class. I'm still in "wait and see" mode.
Solid start though.

It seems they have some confusing criteria.
I have Justin Fuente last ... even though his turnaround job at Memphis rivals any in recent college football history, and even though I think Virginia Tech's hiring of him is the best hire of silly season.
How can he be the best hire, but rank lower than Mendenhall, who was hired in the same class?
It seems their criterion was "most accomplished", which is different than "best".
I guess it gives Fuente and VT something to prove.
