That's a fair point, I just find it hard to believe that no one would have made him an offer that he couldn't pass up if he was a serious candidate.

lol, a little over a week ago, we were a couple minutes of losing to LOLUVA and not making a bowl. People here were like "lets just get to a bowl for frank!"
Now, too many VT fans feel entitled or screwed over. Just be happy we going to a bowl game to send Frank out, with hopefully a win too.
Tech lost to ECU and Pitt at home. There is no excuse for losing to ECU 2 yrs in a row. If there was one game we should have been fired up to play it should have been ECU.............

That's the thing those are two very "old" bowl games, but when new bowls open in places people would actually like to go, the Bahamas! Why doesn't the ACC jump on them?
I guess you could make an argument about getting exposure in markets we typically don't get to play in, but from a ticket sales/attendance standpoint (which is what bowls are all about) it makes no sense. There's not a single ACC fanbase that would get excited about playing games in those cities. I think there's way too many bowl games in general. Just an excuse to get a few more weeks of practice in and more money for advertisers.
