I don't recall seeing him play much in the last couple of games, though.

Apples and oranges. We have a new hc and completely new (and proven) offensive coaching staff. I don't expect Miami to improve while VT maintains current status quo. That is illogical.

There was, I was one of the first, since he played and coached that position previously. But it lists him as WR on the coaches roster.
Wiggins was announced as an assistant but not what position. There were (are?) thoughts that he might switch to RB since he was a RB.

I will say that a lot of the reason why we had a losing record against Golden was that he was a coach during a time when we had plenty of our own issues to deal with...
So now with Shibest officially announced as the TE and ST coach and Wiggins announced as the WR coach we have 2 open positions on the staff based upon the Memphis OC and OL coach coming over.
Edit: I thought the Wiggins position was common knowledge.

if Richt is an upgrade over Golden then, all other things being equal (which they aren't), one could expect things to go worse for us and the Coastal in general under Richt. We managed to have a losing record against Golden, Richt could be enough of an upgrade that 2-3 becomes 0-5.
