If by respectable you mean crying in the Commonwealth Cup so VT can quench its thirst, then yes, very respectable.
Consider the source...?
Ironic, I posted this on a different thread a few weeks ago, speculating who our next coach would be:
Don't think it will be any of those...but one name no one has mentioned, is Bronco Mendenhall.
So far, it's a good trend.
Let's keep that up.
Good hire by UVA.
I don't typically read comments under tweets, but some of them on the @UVa_Football tweets about Bronco are kind of comical. I don't get how people don't know who Bronco is.
And, Fuente already has experience with beating Mendenhall, with that Miami Bowl last year
Indeed. I like for UVa to be respectable when we beat them.
Great hire, didn't see that coming.

I'll consider that a valid confirmation of the reports coming out of Charlottesville...
I like Justin Fuente better. Fuente + Foster= another 12 games winless of commonwealth cup for the LOLUVA.
So you're saying LOLUVA football is kind of like the WNBA?
According to Wikipedia, Bronco Mendenhall is now the head coach of the University of Farts. Seems legit. pic.twitter.com/zingmPT5Se— WRNL (@WideRtNattyLt) December 4, 2015
Good hire by UVA. I'm shocked.
Pretty sure I'm in the minority but I would love for Fuente to throw some shade at him and the Hoos right now.
Tough and gritty and UVA are not to mix, don't you know. Daddy would disapprove!
That's a damn good hire. The coastal is stacked this year
I know that it's a big circle but that's basically what it boils down to haha.
As a former student I found myself going to less games just because of the inconvenience. You couldn't park in Cassel lot which meant you were walking from Lane south. I'm sure that was more me being lazy but I was there at the end of the Greenberg era (awesome/went to a ton of games) into the Johnson era (not awesome).
... and if not, let's create some more of it.
Okay so then he rides the season out and then say SC makes some tribute videos to him to honor is retirement and the team plays for him like VT did for Frank. What do you say then? If anything, he gave another coach an opportunity to lead a team and give a resume boost. Something I wouldn't have minded Beamer doing, so we could see if Bud or Shane could lead a team.
I hope that VT beats that Bronco like a rented mule.
Ballein will remain in the department in an administrative position overseeing the same olympic sports he has now as well as strength and conditioning. But, Guerry would be the guy to go for that probably.
Thanks, honestly I posted a crappy link from my phone. I really was eager for those Turkey Legs.
Agreed, I didn't really see that coming and I'm not sure how much I like it.

I think that for VT, Fuente was the better move.
But they're both pretty good hires.
