Makes me so sick to my stomach for this kid. Hope he crushes cancer and is an NFL MVP one day.
Between VT's Relay and Penn State's Thon, a ton of money is being raised to battle the terrible disease. Keep donating and it will be downed one day!
Get well soon, Conner!!!!!!!!!!!!
#1 Collegiate Relay for ~8 years running, right?
He was better able to control the UVa crowds as coach.
Since Hokies have to play both teams every year, I would love to see AL Golden get the ECU or UVA job . Shane Beamer is better off with USCs.

If anyone is interested, this is a great opportunity to donate to Virginia Tech's Relay For Life, which has been the largest collegiate Relay in the country for 7+ years in a row now. We have raised over $500,000 every year in that span, and want to keep it up.

Look who I'm responding to!
I will if you will!

Shoot, lets all drink!
Not me, I want those overbearing, pretentious sob's to lose every game in every sport played. PERIOD
I think this was already discussed and I think he was nominated but not actually a finalist.
Reference here.
Take it from me, Tulsa is a HS football town. Booker T isn't even #3 there. Google Jenks High School or Union High School. Jenks could beat some small college teams.
Don't get it twisted, I'm still originally a 757 guy myself (actually I'm old, I was 804 then 757, and never moved). VA is a talent rich environment, but it will be nice to snatch up some Oklahoma boys from under Stoops nose.
Maybe they already have someone lined up?
Or maybe they just had too much cash on hand.
Damn...Sad to hear. Hope for a speedy and successful recovery.
He hasn't pulled a Miles Jack and withdrawn, correct? Certainly an argument for optimism. I may be mistaken, but he has been on the sideline at games, correct?
If he's a lock for a first or second round pick... it'll be hard to turn down. I cannot fault him at all and appreciate everything Kendall and his family has done for VT Football!
I'd agree with regards to Miami or GT, but UVA directly competes with us for recruits.
Here's one reason some kids might like going to school in Chapel Hill: The Mullet Family
Thoughts out to this man. Kick cancer's ass!
Terrible news, thankful that it has a high cure rate.
Damn that's awful, but Hodgkins isn't too bad (as far as cancer goes, obviously), he'll probably be fine with just radiation and could easily be back in football.
Wow. That's awful news. Good luck, James.
Way back, when I was in both undergrad and grad business school at Tech we entered team marketing competitions against other university business programs, and Pamplin kicked Darden's ass every time I can remember.
doesn't make sense, maybe an opening for Shane Beamer.

Cuck Fancer!
Go Conner, Hokie Nation supports you!
