IF you come back, let's say Florida shocks the world and beats Bama, Stanford wins the Pac12, and Michigan St knocks off Iowa, who takes Bama's spot in the playoffs: Ohio State, Stanford, or ND?
Same scenario but UNC also happens to upset Clemson, which is more likely, 2 ACC teams in the playoff or no ACC teams in the playoff?
I prefer to use beer for something like that. /s
leg.
Spurrier aka the old balls coach, is an asshole.
Sorry if this is repeated above, but it cannot be stated enough.
And just like that, there's suddenly a Fanpost at EDSBS from someone named VT Bandit trying to crowdsource a new HAS post. Is that you?
If so, why hasn't he tweeted a gif of our very own horse on a treadmill? Seeing that on the VT recruiting site would have me committing right on the spot!

It said will be retained when I saw it also, as far as burden goes.
That was one of Bud Foster's requirements for sticking around on the new staff... "need to get some more goatees around this place"
Go Dukes!
There can be no better name for this vessel. I only hope it was properly christened with a bottle of Coors Light

Totally agree, but people talk like it's unthinkable. Unlikely maybe, but there's a very obvious precedent.
I heard the same line of thought on Greg Roberts Live the other night. And granted, the windbag that he is, we all take a grain of salt with his commentary.
BUT.
One of his guests was a former coach (Phil Elmassian) under Beamer and he insinuated Gentry being gone. However, this makes no sense at all. From what I gather, based on what hokiesports.com lists his position as, that he is NOT the S&C coach for football, he is the S&C guy for the whole athletic dept. J. Ferg is the S&C coach specifically for football.
Elmassian indicated that Gentry was a SIGNIFICANT reason as to why the Hokie program is where it is today and it would be a huge blow to lose him. They made it sound as if this was basically a done deal, but to me that doesn't make sense considering his position of "Associate Director of Athletics for Athletic Performance" (per hokiesports.com). This to me would indicate that he's beyond the reach of Fuente's sweep of the current staff.
Isn't that what offensive linemen are supposed to look like?
This was either fresh off a fishing boat or a ski trip where you forget about the reflection of the sun off the water/snow and get the unexpected sunglasses burn line. By the looks of the mullet and 'stache combo, my (stereotyping) money is on fishing boat.

Power Success and Stuff rate make sense and seem like they might provide some insight. Opportunity rate is just dumb though. There's a million reasons why any run might go for a certain distance and you can't know unless you analyze the tape.
We didn't have the Hokie Bird, but we did have Enter Sandman played and the Groom's cake was a replica of the lunch pail
Technically blue and orange are complimentary colors. That's total horseshit though as it clearly should be Chicago maroon and burnt orange.
I hope somebody explained to her the unnatural color combination that is blue and orange so that she may never accidentally mix two colors I am sure her closet will be full of.

I read the whole thing sideways before scrolling down... :(
I mean, no, not really.
I think the VT Twitter accounts have been VERY sloppy.
Its not a serious issue, but this was bungled and seems somewhat par for the course so far. I approve of the beefed up engagement - we were way behind the times previous to Whit taking over but the growing pains have been...frustrating.
