No, actually the story said he was under consideration. He has not been retained yet unless someone has confirmation on this with no offense intended. I hope he is as WR coach.
I feel like we should be hitting some of those SCAR commits like Leota hard right now with all their uncertainty
He's been a mystery to me for sure. He looked so promising as a freshman, but for whatever reason, the switch just hasn't turned on for him. Perhaps he just doesn't have a head for the game, having not been surrounded by it his whole life like most players. I think the coaches saw him as an Andre Davis-type WR, who didn't have to do anything but outrun the corner straight down the field and wait for the ball to drop in his hands. Unfortunately, we haven't had a deep-ball threat under center or an OL that could protect the passer long enough for him to get downfield.

The advanced oline metrics don't go far back
This year their line is ranked 94th and ours 46th

So our asst staff budget went up from previous year, I believe 3.4mil total. Do we know what Memphis's's'(sp?) asst coach budget was?
I guess what I am asking, the budget CJF had at memphis increase to here, plus 200K(right?) should be more than enough to retain the good guys and bring in the new guys.
The new guys are going to make out pretty well it seems.?.
Its hard to tell on the video perspective. My eyes have him right on the edge but that could be an optical illusion. I do know that right after that flag they showed Fuente and he was arguing with the ref and making motions of running with the ball so he probably thought the punter was outside the tackles too.
Its not shown in the gif but the punter started on the right hash marks then ran left. The 3 up men ran left also.
Technically there're three styles - Eastern, Western, and Lexington (chopped vs. pulled). I grew up near Lexington, and my late dad is probably going to roll over in his grave for me saying this, but I definitely prefer Eastern style. Wilbur's, King's, and many others will always be my favorites.
These reasons are why I avoid speaking in absolutes.
I'm fine with it. Brewer had the snot beat out of him both last year and this year. He knew he was going to get blasted at UVA. A QB playing behind a good line doesn't tell his OC that he knows he's going to get beat up and still find a way to win.
Cornelsen was a nominee - but didn't make the finalists.
2014 Shibest was a nominee also - but didn't make the finalists
Pretty close to 100% chance everyone on TKP will
edit: forgot about magic/fountain of youth/advances in medical science
It's been like this for awhile.
pshh..pessimist...
I'm sure the school could buy it back for a couple of turkey legs
Yea, I'm a Searels fan. I think he was doing a respectable job digging us out of the O-line situation we put ourselves in. But, I trust Fuente in what he is doing. He's kept what I deem to be the most important members of our current regime (Foster and Torrian).
I will probably be dead in 100 years.
This guy?

Doesn't look like it...

Doesn't mean he won't be better than Loeffler though.
It's Bob, dude. Bob Anderson. You know Bob, right?
I think Spurrier is just answering criticism of his own retirement.
I don't think he has anything against Beamer.

that would have been too much subtles
Should have ended it as "... but his time out on the field will tell" though. Oh well better thinking next go around

When one of your regular season games ended 0:0 in regular time , it is a sign that offensive help is needed. Fuente is trying to assemble a staff that can create a complete team. Wherever his evaluation leads the Hokies that's where I am going.
