The defensive coaches at VT have always had a tough look to them, specifically Foster and I am finally glad to see the offensive side of the ball look just as tough! Both sides I can see having a lunch pail mentality now, not just the defense. Both coaches on both sides of the ball look like they have some serious fire inside of them and want to be great. If we can't beat you with 5 stars we will beat you with walk ons!

We had a couple Hoos at our wedding, when the Bird found out, he pretended to break a bottle on the table and stab them with it.
He was cool to have hang out, and we got tons of other pictures. I think the funniest story was how my uncle (who is German) ran into him in the bathroom, and was like what the hell is going on here. He had no clue.
Definitely a highlight, strange how much that Bird can get you in the feels. Speaking of which, my wife just bought the Hokie Bird version of Pillow Pets for my toddler son.

I'm in a league where head-to-head matchups determine positions and I hate it. I faced a team with 250 fewer points than me one time on a week where I had a few bye weeks and lost by like 2 points. I think it's better to be judged over your entire body of work rather than one or two matchups against another team.
Several times during his last few weeks Frank said "it's not about me", and I'm sure he meant that. He mentioned playing for the seniors and winning. The Ole Ball Coach is obviously jealous that Frank was rightly treated like the legend he has become. Sad for Spurrier.
