Hopefully Fuente wants starting defensive tackles that weigh more than 250 pounds.

# | Hokies Can't Quite Get Over the Hump, Fall to Northwestern 81-79 in Overtime I would like to see our offense diversify. By that I mean some of the younger players expanding the ways in which they can score. For Blackshear: get open and take the jumper or making more baseline drives he's so good at. For Chris Clarke: pick smart times when to drive with reckless abandon (obviously) and maybe use his drives to dish. For Bibbs: attack the basket in addition to shooting outside, his floater game is not bad at all. For Robinson: work on midrange jumpers. Any other ideas?
I just tried to register www.firejustinfuente.com but it is already taken and redirects to
I'm going to attribute that more to dadis hurt hand. If you want painful, getting mauled by Stanford in the OB is the worst dline moment i can think of
And Miami in 2014 amongst other games in recent years. Hopefully Fuente wants starting defensive tackles that weigh more than 250 pounds.
hasn't he heard our motto?

Except that bud has changed his scheme over the years. Maybe having an offense that doesn't suck will lead him to play a defense that is less breakable on big plays and more bendable
Bud has a new boss.
He'll never know if people are actually booing him or cheering his name.
Then again watching our small dline eat up Alabama in 13 and OSU in 14 was beautiful to watch
But it was painful in '15 where the d-line was too small to bring down Cardale Jones or any other sizable mobile QB we played this year. Jones was slipping out of sacks and giving piggyback rides all night.
"time for change?"

"Hi there!!!"

There is no "new staff" on the Defensive side. Bud has his scheme and player attributes that he looks for - that's not going to change.
He's run the ball exactly zero times on first down.
Do you mean Burden? :)
If so, that should mean Wiggins is RB coach and Dickey is staying in Memphis.
Edited to add: though this should go over to Fuente Staff thread
But he went to his house, I don't understand...
#BudinBall
That's the word on the streets
I mean, the guy hasn't even beat UVA yet! What are we doing with him?!
Is this just your prediction, or something you've heard/read?
I'm all for a more traditional defensive front if Foster brings his own wrinkles to it. Then again watching our small dline eat up Alabama in 13 and OSU in 14 was beautiful to watch
One hope of mine for this new staff is that increased size on the D line will be prioritized. I know we've tried in recent years to recruit bigger guys and have had some success.
He hasn't even coached a game, what a slacker! I mean really, what are we paying this guy for?

This is for you Hokie Fireman
