I know no one probably knows this save Fuente himself, but anyone know the chances of lower tier staff staying on? Specifically thinking about Jarrett Ferguson for personal reasons (Mrs. APFOW is a HS friend of his) and GAs. Are GAs more tied to the school than coaches? I have no idea.

Don't get me wrong, it isn't exactly a ringing endorsement, but that's the interim AD of a cellar-dwelling B1G school. His job is to put a guy in place with a contract to essentially make sure the program isn't a complete wreck in a year when they actually have an AD who can go out and make a good hire. Compare that to Miami and SCar who have had well over a month to fill vacant spots, or UVA who should've fired London weeks ago but held onto him for some reason and now are well behind everyone else. Those programs have established administrators and deep pockets (at least compared to Illinois), and still those ADs haven't been able to do their jobs in well over a month's time. The interim AD at UI did his job. Can't expect much more than that.

Something tells me Vince and Wyatt are going to get along very well.

Well I also grew up in the upstate, I went to Clemson, and I now work in Greenville. The students and people closer to my age are insufferable and delusional. They most certainly do not respect VT. There are obviously some that do, but this is absurd.

They do boo their own team, I go to most home games because I live so close by and my stepdad has tickets/tailgates every week. They booed Cole Stoudt every time he came out for a series by halfway through the season last year. Additionally, they began booing injuries by the other team, every single time once Chad Morris got there, because every time someone got injured playing tackle football "they were just trying to slow down our offense" this eventually turned into booing even injuries by the opposing offenses which made no sense.

That said, USCe fans are also terrible. I can agree with that.

I agree with HokieBone12 here. I don't think the ACC gets a team in the playoff if UNC beats Clemson. As it is right now, if Clemson loses ND will take a spot in the playoff with OU, B1G Champ, and SEC Champ (most likely Bama).
