Very kind words from a professional in the sport. IMHO he is a very 'meh' quarterback, but he is still a professional that should know a thing or two about offenses. And while I'm not a fan of his, that was very nice of him to say.
That QB is probably Corwin Cutler, son of the man who famously went off about how much he hates Virginia Tech and whatnot.
Didn't most of them turn out to be busts anyways? Blanding turned out to be as expected but the rest of them fell pretty short of expectations (granted some of them came from pretty terrible circumstances and I do respect London a lot for being a father figure for kids who were in some pretty messed up situations)....and according to this article, we didn't take a 'bred quarterback because his grades sucked, that's the reason why they hate us:

I know we like to pile on Miami, but what Larranaga has done there is quite the accomplishment.
They've already sold out every home game for the rest of the season, and this is a school that has very little basketball tradition. Hell, they didn't even have a team from 1971-1985.

Coaches from both the 757 Sports Academy and the Virginia Thoroughbreds said they have a minimal role in recruiting, not wanting to overstep their players' parents or high school coaches. But London and Virginia assistant Chip West, both of whom grew up in the Tidewater area, exchanged at least 420 calls with Snead on their school-issued cellphones from August 2012 to August 2013, according to documents obtained through an open-records request.
That's an awful lot of phone calls between London and the Thoroughbred coaches considering they said they have a "minimal role in recruiting, not wanting to overstep their players' parents or high school coaches".

The smallest arena in the ACC right now is Miami's BankUnited Center at 7,972, so it's not like a smaller venue can't be successful in the ACC.
Yeah, but Miami's fans couldn't fill a highschool gym anyway.

I do not have a simplified "the offense is bad, so I hate Loeffler" mentality. My view is more nuanced than that. I've stated before how much I respect his play design and situational play calling ability. His greatest shortcomings come from play to play game flow play calls, going away from who's hot. It's like he calls all the right plays in the wrong order. Additionally, the execution errors are on him. If the team can't execute all your schemes, simplify things. It's the adjustments he wasn't able to make that sunk him. He'll have a job somewhere, and he may be an OC again, his issues are very fixable.

Miller looks like a freaking truck running around on the feild. To be honest, haven't seen a OLB hit like him at tech since Vince Hall. But these are only highlights.
