This, this, a million times this. That's the point I'm making. They never respected us, it's not a recent thing, they act like they've been a blue blood program forever. (They have one ACC championship since I was born in 1992) They are absurdly delusional and I promise, if you spent any time around their fans, you couldn't help but root against them.
I've had the 'privilege' of meeting Mike London and all rivalry aside, he's a really good guy. He gave me a Beamer vibe actually in how he seemed to care about what you said and was pretty down to earth. I wish him the best wherever he goes as long as it's not against us.
Doesn't matter since both are inferior to Qdoba, and all of the above are inferior to Freebirds.

I think that Fuente is going to move one coaching position from D to O, so Bud had to lose one. Brown has the smallest role to coach, and was the logical position to eliminate.
Not necessarily. It's entirely possible Bud recommended his entire staff, but Fuente wanted to pick and choose.

First, we freak out during our coaching search at every candidate out there. Now we're doing the same for others. Did you not learn that multiple people get associated with each position when we had a new candidate each day? People, let the carousel work its way through the openings and go from there.

# | Hokies Can't Quite Get Over the Hump, Fall to Northwestern 81-79 in Overtime Lots of good analysis, lot of good comments. To me, I see VT, I see basketball players, but I don't get a feeling that I'm watching a "team" yet. I'm sure that Buzz will eventually sort out what he needs to do with these guys to build that cohesiveness, and I realize that the youth of the team is part of that puzzle, but for now, I'm hoping to see more unselfish play and a better flow, for lack of a better word, on offense and a consistent emphasis on defense as we move into conference play. We have some talent, maybe a lot of talent out there, but it's still a bit loose.
But I want #Shibeamerball now!
High school is gonna suck for that kid.
