Mike London Conference or Taco Conference. Downside there is we all lose our Taco byes.
Not to get into this whole discussion that has been had again and again, but no analyst says stars don't matter.

The last .GIF says so, so much.
And I agree with every word of it.
Time for a GIF story, I think!
Coach Fuente sat down this morning, full of confidence.

First things first: get to talkin' to them midwestern boys.

Naturally, they were impressed and immediately accepted the offers.

Of course, LOLUVA was a little miffed that VT's going to be kicking their asses for another twelve years.

To be fair I would've been blacklisted last year but that ultimately came down to school making me forget i had a life. Seriously maybe stick em all in their own division or something. Like a last chance league
I'm going to play devil's advocate here. I think most of us expected much more growth in the WR dept. than what was shown this season. Bucky took a step backwards, Ford was still doing Ford things, Cam has been hot and cold all year and was visibly upset at halftime and after the game on Saturday, and no WR3 ever surfaced this year despite many thinking Knowles might be that guy or a new face like Bradshaw..
I get that he has important ties to the 757, but that doesn't make him a good WR coach. I know Moorehead is gone (really liked him as a coach) but if there is a better option on the Memphis staff, I'd like to see what he could do and possibly keep Zohn on as a recruiting asset.
Not at work anyway.
We haven't pouched anyone yet. We've only offered him a scholarship like a lot of other spread football teams have. There's a good chance he never even commits to us.
Dude, good luck. jhnbrynt smoked the shit out of me this week.
It's not too late 757 recruits!!!
In fact, it's #JustinTime to switch your verbal and come on over to the 'Burg!
I may stand corrected, then. I have some recollection of that picture and comment you mentioned. I think it was during the time that we were all freaking out about Foster to aTm last year. I interpreted it as an indicator that he wouldn't be following Bud to College Station if he left, not that he wouldn't consider going elsewhere for a promotion. Thinking back on that, I seem to recall a teenage daughter in the picture. Perhaps it would be wise to amend my prediction to "Torrian probably won't be here for long after his daughter graduates from high school". He strikes me as the kind of guy who wouldn't disrupt his family's life like that just for a promotion.

# | GIFTORY: Frame-by-Frame Highlight Reel of Virginia Tech's 23-20 win over Virginia Size doesn't mean as much as people think. . I wish.
I like to think grammar police is when someone jumps on a poster immediately.
I try to stick to this MO:
first offense- ignore
second offense- post funny picture to subtly (or not so subtly) shame the poster
third offense- point out the error outright and supply the correct grammar spelling
Maybe some would consider that grammar police. Of coarse, I guess I half to bee willing too take my own medicine if someone else chooses two due the same.
glad somebody got it
thought the issue for VT with JUCO players was VT's acceptance of them. That Beamer had tried going down that road and hit roadblocks.
Had Notre Dame beaten Stanford, I still don't think they would have made it in.
I'm not so sure of this. The ACC and B1G are the only P5 conferences that could potentially have undefeated teams. The Pac 12 would have, at best, a 3-loss Champ so IMO they would get left out. Then it comes down to whether ND would be favored over a 1-loss OU team which doesn't play a conference championship game. ND's 1 loss (by two points to the #1 undefeated Clemson team on the road) looks a heck of a lot better than OU's 1 loss to Texas.
So does the committee award ND and punish the Big12 for not having a championship game? Does the committee award OU and punish ND for not being part of a P5 conference?
Do they look at the two teams on level ground without any bias regarding conference affiliation and championship game results and just look at SOS and quality of wins? I think it would be a really tough argument to select 1-loss OU over a 1-loss ND team with their 1 loss coming to #1 Clemson on the road
Unless UVA does it. Then it's dirty rotten cheating with biased refs.
FWIW, the teams that do that will be blacklisted next year.

just because the OL is downfield doesn't mean the play is not beautiful. It is a great play. One execution error aside.
Duke Johnson did his best David Wilson impression late in the game when he ran backwards for 10 yards.

That was close to being a legal hit and not a roughing the kicker. Roughing only applies within the tackle box, that punter was real close to being outside the box. That's what Fuente was pissed off about.
Already spoke to Phillip Patterson to get him back on board

Gah It's times like this when I hate that point values and not head to head match ups determine positions. I SEE YOU TD'S AND TEAM NEEDS A NAME. And I already lost to Gotta Heal Jamaal this season... craaaaaaap!! It'll be me that falls out of the playoffs. Watch.
