After watching that train wreck, I hate that mother nature and crappy turf management may have decided one of the playoff spots. Congrats to TCU for manning up in OT though.

We're going to get alot better. May be a rough year in the ACC, but there is alot to like. Will it jell with a few guys separating themselves?

We got three decent ball handlers... hopefully they'll help one another get better during the year. Got a feeling Allen is still knocking off some rust. But perhaps I'm being stupidly optimistic.
The field they are playing on at TCU is shit.

I'm mesmerized by it.
Two good, similar teams tossed into an an environment that totally disrupts everything they want to do and are capable of doing. Lots of coaching on the fly, learning on the fly, and utter panic all around.
It's a deathmatch, and I'm loving it.
This Baylor/TCU game is easily the worst college football game I've ever watched, and this is coming from someone who sat through our Athletic Bowl against Rutgers and the Wake forest game last year.
are there any assistants at these schools worth going after? Our former CB coach Lorenzo Ward is at USC-e, could potentially go somewhere else. If we lose Torrian Gray, might be worth going after.

Fuente has proven he can do more with less and solve problems and mitigate weaknesses on his teams -- recruited JUCOs to supplement his roster, focused his offense around a stud QB .. Recruiting? Memphis is smack dab in the middle of SEC territory .. How did Tom Herman recruit at Iowa State?? Probably badly. Herman may be a great recruiter .. Seems to be but:
A) tOSU and the allure of Urban Meyer recruits itself
B) Houston is a recruiting hotbed where he's the hot new name, both of their biggest programs are down right now ..
What he's doing at Houston is very impressive and he seems to be the more "seasoned" recruiter of the two but let's give JF a chance at a program where he has something to sell..
BTW: smoke is rolling now .. Legit leaks starting to occur

Mustard Seed Bar is good, and if I recall it used to open at 9am, in south Bellevue.
Edit: yes, I should have just edited my original post. I blame the extra pie and turkey induced coma. And yes, I used to live in Seattle area.

Also try many places in Bellevue, that is just up the road from you. Many bars in multiple malls and eateries there.
Lakeland Community College had "Bosnian Ganga" in their World Music class. I was pretty angry at having to endure that until I drove down for the '09 Miami game.
I think Bud has been great, but I'll be surprised if it's as dire as you're indicating.

Stop the backs. That is the key. Shegog, Alexander, Riley, Frye, Clark, Reynolds, Stroman- those guys (and possibly Clarke and Motuapuaka) are going to have to cover Mizzel. That is going to be tough. Zaccheaus is going to have a corner on him if Severin is out. I think Severin will play though.
