When I saw Shane's comment about resting Travon, I thought that this would have a totally different connotation if it were the Louisville basketball team.
Fuente was my second choice behind Herman, but I would be stoked to have Fuente from his TCU background and what he has brought Memphis from to what it is now.
I actually have a funny feeling that if we got Herman, we would be a stepping stone to an even bigger job down the road. I think Fuente would be here for the long road or at least longer than Herman... just my .02
To the media, stop being a tease. It ain't making you look cool at all...

What many don't realize is that Bud is actually an acronym, for Biotechnic Ultimate Destroyer, as B.U.D. is a cyborg from the future
Is this an NCAA violation?
I wouldn't call the Dark Knight Trilogy terrible. Man of Steel was pretty mediocre though.
I thought the chatter was that Spidey was gonna end up not being in this one.
Awesome as always, been missing this so much this season!
As a villain. It wasn't until the end of the film that he flipped.
I'be been wondering the same. I'm on board the Mullen train now, he successfully turned around a P5 dumpster into a once #1 team. I like Fuente but with Mullen we know he can coach in the P5 and specifically in the hardest division in college football.
From @FootballScoop: HokieHaven is reporting that Virginia Tech defensive coordinator Bud Foster is a candidate for #Illini HC. Thoughts?
Here's another one: Over/Under Moto gets 1.5 strip fumbles. Followed by Over/Under Moto gets .5 fumble returned for six.
Thoughts??
I think McMillian finally gets a big run for 6 which propels his yards to over 120 and getting the thousand. If Brewer is a banged up as some say/think, a healthy dose of McMillian should wear down UVA, with Rogers spelling him here and there and further tiring the UVA defense. (Btw I've never understood why they call giving the RB a break a "blow". It's just awkward when Shane is like "I asked Travon if he needed a blow. And if he did that we'd give him a blow." Maybe it's just my immaturity at 35 coming through. On that note......

Mullen would be my number 1, Herman my number 2, Morris my number 3, and Fuente my number 4. However, any of the four would be a home run hire.
If Herman goes to LSU, watch out for LSU to be a NC contender by his second season. LSU has more defensive talent than just about anyone. Herman can bring in an offense that is more effective and then add top-end Texas skill guys. The fact that Herman is 10-1 using a converted wide receiver as QB (and now said converted WR has been replaced) speaks to the sharpness of his scheme.
Thanks. This lends credence to the likelihood that he's already "committed" to VT.
So far I think Marvel has dominated movies but done terrible television. DC has been the opposite with terrible movies but amazing TV success. Kind of hard to figure out why they have such opposite fall offs.
Captain 'Mrica 2 was the introduction of Winter Soldier.
Lord help us all... I would've had to turn the parade off.
I went to the UT-UGA game and left traumatized by Rocky Top and "Turn Down For What" on every 3rd down...

# | Dan Wolken tweets Fuente to VT "is happening" but stops short of saying it is a done deal. I agree Hermann would be everybody's #1, but Fuente is a great #2. Hopefully he'll do great things
I heard one of the highschool bands playing Rocky Top and was terrified we were about to be subjected to UVA's and Tennessee's bands on the same day.
Is Mullen still in the running as there is a ton of smoke pointing towards Fuente?
He seems worried about UVA playing us on Saturday.

So, the UVA "band" interrupted the Macy's parade.
My three year old responded by putting a blanket over his head and walking away.
but what you say isn't the case here. It's not most coordinators or staff, it's a single coach. one that is regarded as the (one of) best in the business. so while my business may not equate to power 5 football, risk management is part of every business. I think the total shit storms that you see HC's do and holistically swap staff puts the program at great risk. if they don't work or worse go down in flames then you have to holistically swap again. then how many times is it going to take until one catches after that first one. that's bad business no matter what industry it is. so despite the HC being the highest paid, what's more important the HC or the program? definitely the program.
Over. Only Louisville (253 ypg) and Syracuse (163 ypg) managed less than 205 passing yards against the Hoos.
Math!
I've enjoyed reading these articles over the course of the season. Good job guys. Here's hoping we get a chance to read one more before it's all said and done.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Nail on the head right here. I base this on no facts whatsoever, but I feel like Herman is much more likely to bail on us for a bigger job than Fuente. It already seems like he's willing to hold out at Houston for a job at a blue blood program.
