Nothing new other than I been told Whit has the contract on the table and it's not Les
The contract is on the table. It's just a matter of the guy saying yes. If he does all of you will probably know by next Monday maybe in next few days. My feeling is none of you will be disappointed if he does.
The ultimate curveball would be Mike Tomlin.
Here's the gridiron article.
If true, it doesn't feel like a Whit hire. It kinda feels like settling early, taking the easy, safe way out. Fuente would be a good hire, but not the best hire VT could have pulled off.
Yeah, it might be better if I came down for a visit.
I think you have my email. Drop me a line. If it's possible, I'd like to visit in early December.
I have also collaborated with a certain German institution.
Edit: I found your email address.
There are lots of guys on here that could qualify for that title, they just aren't as loudmouthed as I am.
Yeah, not a bad idea.
Have not had the opportunity to use it yet but, I will keep it in. Mind.
That's outstanding.
I am going to implement that tomorrow with some friends and try and figure out how I can work that into a thing for my new brewery.
Being local, to me, means finding a way to incorporate as many holiday things in the normal operating cycle, just like family.
This is right up my alley.
I think we may have found our location in the Roanoke area.
Working number right now, after modifying our initial plan, to start with mostly retail location.
In a word- Expense.
Packaging is the single most expensive part of brewing.
The cost to package can be figured as more expensive than the ingredients, the brewing and wages combined, for each batch of beer.
In addition, the smallest lot for purchasing the cans in order to experiment with these cans would be about 12,000 cans, if they are available in the same quantity minimums as regular cans.
If you decide you do not like them, you cannot reuse them or save them for something else. They are already printed, you either use them for that exact product, or throw them away.
And then there's the cost and hassle of these cans needing special equipment in the assembly line. Let me put that cost into perspective. A part of the line, which puts the labels onto bottles, for a craft beer sized bottling plant the size of your local brewery which has a decent presence in the stores, cost just under $150,000. Just for the labeler.
Cost for the equipment to put that same beer onto a keg? You can build one that will fill 8 kegs at a time for less than $250.
There are a few examples out there of nitrogen cans for craft beer but, you'll only see them in very large breweries. Guinness is one of the largest in the world and a brand in the company that is the largest maker of spirits in the world with a market cap of about $50 billion.
Edit: billion is spelled with a "B".
They don't even talk about what size gloves that he wears. Are they 3x?!?
I need to know!!
yep I understand the point, but the first year of a new coach is always a wash for recruiting. Enjoy the ride.
Probably because a school wants a coach in place because a lot of recruiting takes place in the first few weeks of December and it's better if you have a coach in place. Wait too long and you get left behind. Plus we are fans so therefore we have NO PATIENCE lol
uh.. no. delete this post and burn it with fire.

not sure why people want the process to end so quickly. This is the first time in forever that we get to go through this. We should be enjoying it and relishing in the fact that we are considered such a high position of want. Now if (fingers crossed, knock on wood) we are several years down the line and on our 2nd or 3rd round of this, that's when to be tired of it.
I for one am loving the attention and love. tomorrow's a new day, wonder who the next candidate is gonna be!
yeah something like that would be just awesome. Maybe go really high tech and do a lightfield projection or projection mapping of some kind. But in the end a stone relief on the wall or a print like this one would do just fine as well.
Further along then prelim. All the way to being on table in writing all he has to do is sign from what I'm told.
The one they been working on?
Not to mention we didn't hardly sell out Lane this year. New coach has a good chance to sell it out next year and push that farther into the black.
But it was paid for almost 100% by private donations.
If you were or are in the Marching Virginians, you should know that Hokie Nation appreciates your commitment to improving the game day atmosphere.
I have to admit when I saw the title, I was afraid something had happened to him.
Both defenses gave up over 200 yards in the fourth quarter. Ours let them walk into the endzone twice. Our O had to convert on fourth down against theirs. I don't blame anybody, it was a good tight game.
Navy at Houston PK
Baylor -1.5 at TCU
Ohio State at Michigan -2.5
Ole Miss -1.5 at Mississippi State
Notre Dame at Stanford -3.5
Florida State -1.5 at Florida
Oklahoma -4.5 at Oklahoma State Only if Mayfield isn't playing

I never played with the MVs but, it's easy to see this is BS.
I did get to do some parades and an NFL halftime show as a cymbal player for a marching band out in San Diego.
Them big Zildjian 20" cymbals need to be held up high to hear the crash properly on a parade. I got picked out of the drumline because I was strong enough to do it. I got stronger shoulders for it.
But the crap he talks about is easy to see through.
