Fork Union and Hargrace are prep schools, not JUCO, which is a huge difference. Prep schools are private high schools that cost a ton of money and are intended to get test scores up, possibly add some core classes, and/or get more exposure to coaches, then apply as a freshman student. Post grad students attend one or two semesters. JUCOs are usually public institutions/colleges (think community college) where the students get a two year degree and apply as transfer students.

Thanks for the article. Outside of VT and a handful of really big games (like the UK/Duke game), I'm kinda out of the loop on all things college basketball. It's good to get an idea on what's happening to the rest of the conference.
Despite what our hearts tell us, I don't think Bud is really in contention
Can we go ahead and give you the "TKP Beer Expert" title?

Thanks for posting that.
Seems like the Washington Post could have provided that information, instead of going for the sensationalist headlines.
If the university has student fees, then it seems that should have been included. Still, almost $8 million in student fees? Really? Wow...
EDIT: I guess it makes sense, and students get either subsidized or free admission to a lot of athletic events. When you break it down per student, it seems affordable.

I don't doubt that but it's been 6 different coaches now according to sources haha so we know it will be either Bud, Fuente, Morris, or Mullen and RR and Fedora are out of it.
Yes, footnotes are just as important. Often help to show the breakdown of the full line item.
Whit wants a done deal by the end of the season before the carousel gets in full swing and before the all important December official visit season and recruiting trail.
We are one of the lowest student athletic fees in the state.
Yes he has from what I've been told by someone in the know. Until he signs it though nothing set in stone and even then it never is lol
And we are charging on the low end nationally. It should be higher
Same could be said for a lot of P5 coaches that move jobs. Simple fact is this: all coaching hires are a gamble.
I didn't watch the game, but Wake upset Indiana 82-78.
This article tells me that Morris, RR, Fuente, Herman, Mullen...etc none of them have signed a contract to coach at VT and we are still looking. Nothing to announce if no coach has taken the job and there won't be an announcement tomorrow, or this Saturday or anytime until someone accepts.
Had the number 17th ranked class last year, believe he has consistently had his classes in the mid 20s to low 30s which is impressive at a place like Missisippi State where there aren't many selling points other than playing in the SEC West. I think he could take VT recruiting to the next level.
is this one of Whit's new negotiation strategies? Pulling the contact out of his eye and putting it on the table would be a ballsy move and probably get me to agree to just about anything.
I think Saban runs that program with an iron fist.

Best part is it's not even original. Down to the lack of an apostrophe in "Gods."
I'm guessing it's from something and I don't get the reference, if not it's really weird that he copied Andrew Quarless's tattoo.
I don't know but I saw him working on technique with Adonis on every timeout. It was pretty cool to watch.
He should give Russell Wilson a call.

So at first glance I was like
After reading all the stuff about him and what he's done I'm all....
And finally I think all of us are all....
