He needs to make better effort on 50/50 balls. Their was no reason for him to come up short on an under thrown ball on that play that was intercepted.

Of course I'm not serious. It's just frustrating how over the last few years the defense has played decent. Meanwhile the offense is stagnant and predictable. Defense can't rest when you cant have a sustainable drive.

So after the game I stopped by a tailgate and a recent former player stopped by and he did not have any nice things to say about the QB and the OC. I was kind of shocked.

Agree. I'm incredibly proud of how the players fought so hard today and nearly won that game. But any appreciation or patience I may have still had for Loeffler is gone as of today. I'm tired of seeing his sorry offensive scheme continually sputter and choke when we need them the most. This the best offensive talent we've had since 2010-11, and this offense looks inexcusably bad. I just can't wait to see a fresh new approach to offense after this season. Loeffler is a terrible OC. Tired of that side of the ball being the weak link.

I'm trying to reform myself from the negative so I will try to defend Bucky if indeed what you say is true. Maybe:

1. He needs an OC or HC on the sidelines to kick him in the butt and not let him take plays off. Didn't we see that a few years ago from another guy? Maybe the HC is happy with his play, or can't remember that he had a guy doing that a few years ago.
2. He is a bigger than average fast twitch muscle guy who tires easily and needs a reliable backup to be able to play at full speed when in the game.
3. He is still relatively new to the position and some things are not clicking completely.
4. The guy is frustrated by all the attention defenses are giving him and even more frustrated that the offense is not taking better advantage of having an extra guy often hanging around him so that extra guy won't often be hanging around him.
5. While under the severe influence of alcoholic spirits one night he found a higher spirit and had himself tattooed. (I'm not sure this one counts even as a maybe.)

Seriously hope a new staff can help him reach his full potential.

Iowa doesn't have a loss yet is getting no respect. Bama has zero quality wins. Then will go beat a really overrated UF squad.

That's what I'm getting at with this post. He flat looks out of shape to me.

Taking a 5-7 team to a bowl isn't doing things the right way. I hope Tech has enough pride to turn down such an offer if it comes down to that.

I like the FT improvement. You get the feeling this team did a million free throws the past few days. Kinda disappointed in Big Satch. He came in late in the half and lost the handle on a ball and then let someone whiff by him to the rim. I was really hoping he would have developed a big time mean streak this season.

This game was the mirror of the Duke game. Defense could have done more, but the offense choked at key points.

Easily the worst part was the guy behind me yelling "loser" during the "Beamer" chant post game. Never before have I wanted someone's kneecaps broken so badly.

While I do feel the SEC gets a little more buzz than they should, Alabama has looked absolutely disgusting in every game theyve played. Even against Ole Miss they were in it, and Chaos tried their absolute best to give the Rebels that win.

Yeah he looked flat out exhausted several times late in the game. His conditioning shouldn't be a problem at this point in the year so I wonder what the deal is with that.
