In all serious, any team can play the "oh if we only did this!" or "man, if we didn't do that!" game.... goes both ways.
I'm not well versed on the exact rules but I can understand your argument that it was a catch. However, in all of the college football I've watched, I have grown very used to that being called a no catch. Either way, it is over. We played a good team and fought hard. If someone had told me yesterday I could lock in us only losing by 3 to their high powered O, I would've surely considered it. Moving on to taking out this heart break on UVA.

I think this was one of those weird games where about 20 plays could legitimately be pointed to as saying they could have decided the game.

Disappointed with ESPN's awkward interview with Fedora, and then no time to hear from Frank before switching games. I understand O and USCw fans want to watch their game. But in this instance, use the time you have to interview Frank first.

I hate catch rules, but I don't think he possessed that ball long enough in bounds to be called a catch. I will try to look at it more objectively after sleeping on it.

I'm having a hard time accepting that he "possessed the ball when he caught it." he never had time to make a football move during that entire play. either way, can't do anything about it now.
So, we disagree about what the word "possession" means. I say you don't have possession of a catch if the ball is clearly bobbling.

I played in a well organized rec basketball league. the refs were so bad one year, we got rid of them all the next year. we had one player from each team ref instead for free. saved us a bunch of money and everyone was way more happy.
The ACC should do the same thing.

In the first half, how many times did we get the ball into UNC territory and fail to get points or have to settle for a FG? That's why I blame the offense. The defense stepped up and held back a damn good UNC offense. If our offense could actually have capitalized on the opportunities they were given FOR THE ENTIRE GAME then we win this thing in regulation and send Frank out the way he ought to be sent.
As it is, we still haven't beaten a ranked team at home since 2009.
