I assume you are referring to Butch Jones? I live in TN and I've watched him rebuild the UT program. It's still a work in process, but he's put a lot into it. His recruiting success is well publicized. I just don't see him jumping ship now.

Bill went to VT from 85-86, then went in the Army. John graduated in 75. Johns father was a VT grad and founded WB Jordan.
Supposition: Bill is the younger brother, went to VT and it didn't go well. His brother was moving up in the family biz. Dad sent Bill to the military to get his shit together. Bill gets shit together, has a nice career in litigation finance. John has a great career, CEO of biggest GC in VA, rector at VT. Younger bro Bill is the loose lips of the family.
That's funny. Same story for me and a few buddies our senior year. We'd go there for happy hour every Thursday and got to know a few bartenders. Each week we'd go in for just a supermug or two because we had other plans later that night, but would end up spending the rest of the night there. Great times.

Completely agree with what Coach Beamer's wife told him. He did win a national championship, so many in fact that it can't be counted. All the positive ways he helped his players, staff and fans. That butterfly effect that we never think about on a day to day basis until something like this happens. I am so proud of the way VT is sending out CFB. Just class and respect; so much feelings that my grim cold heart is nearing normal human levels... God Bless you Coach Frank Beamer for surely God blessed Virginia Tech with you.

The real sad part is how good we were when he would have been here. And also how BAD those teams needed a three point shooter. It would have been something, but it wasnt just Greenberg that missed on him. I dont know how his talent wasnt showing up in high school. It just doesnt happen in basketball that the best player in the pro's doesnt get the attention in high school. And if it his Dad wasnt Dell Curry, he probably would have gotten less attention.
He makes me enjoy watching pro basketball again.
