Considering his contract calls for him to be a "special assistant to the Athletic Director" for some amount of years after his retirement, I expect we will see Frank around for moments like this.

This one especially, because of how long it took to make this game happen and that it did under Frank (and Weaver's efforts)

It's probably 45 minutes longer but the far righthand route on the map he linked is really scenic. Or, instead of getting off 52 to I74 to I77 and going up the mountain that way you can stay on 52 through Mt Airy (Mayberry!) and get a little mountain road driving before meeting back up with I77 in Fancy Gap.

I don't think this guys location has anything to do with his knowledge of the next coach. He may just have insider information.

I also like all the Herman references. He's my top pick.

Too bad Brewer is a Senior. Him having his old high school coach as VT's head coach would have been cool. But...nothing is in "Hokie Stone" yet.

Tom Herman may have been born in Cincinnati, Ohio but he was raised in Southern California. IMHO, if there is any place Mr. Herman would call home, it would be where he grew up.

I just spent some time on another VT sports site. I now know that the next coach is definitely going to be Herman, Morris, fuente, right, miles, or some other coach not named. Everybody is positioning himself for the I told you so comments without actually saying anything at all.

But, more importantly, the formatting on that other site sucks. Thanks Joe for making such a user friendly atmosphere at TKP.

Yes, because the left tackle protects the blindside. The left tackle last year got beat by Ekanem for the sack/turnover that opened the game. He is now on the right side- against Dadi, while a significantly better left tackle will be blocking Ekanem. Ekanem had his best game of the year last season against UNC

IEOR, eh? That dates him. I think they changed the major in the early 1990s.
