I live in Tucson, and all the wildcat fans I know that follow UofA football a lot more closely than me insist he's very happy here, and his family loves it here. I agree, it'll be a tough go to get him to leave for Blacksburg, but Whit's proven he has the chops to pull something like that off. I, for one, wouldn't mind him coaching VT...the thought of his offense paired with Bud's D has me drooling uncontrollably. But like fernley said, it's very unlikely.

The way I see it, these are just one more way for the rich to keep getting richer. Even if all conferences are allowed to do them, the cost will keep smaller schools from running them and the bigger schools will snag more recruits that would otherwise go to a local school.

Utah covers

OK
Oregon, primarily on the strength of their cheerleaders
LSU

Meh, sounds like sour grapes to me because some other schools thought of it first. I think we should keep these camps and start using them. Some kids can't travel to all the colleges and by holding local ones in their areas we are likely to show we are interested in them and find more diamonds in the rough which our staff is pretty well know for.

lol you might get DL'd for that, but I legged it for the accylum inside joke

And by the way, its 'SHIT UR WHOARISH MOUF'

The Pac-12 has submitted a proposal that would allow college athletes to use their names, images and likenesses to "promote their own non-athletic business ventures," the conference said in a news release Friday.

Nike to launch new Braxton Miller shoe line. Featuring the shoe that will "give you a better spin move on the dance floor, but totally not while playing any type of sport. These are dance shoes. Really. Cleats are just the new style for dancing."

Quite the opposite. Brewer mentioned at ACC Kickoff that Lawson joined him in the Beamer Barn over the summer. He stood behind Brewer and mimicked what he did. Everything I have heard suggests Lawson is a leader. However, Loeffler's playbook isn't simple, it took Brewer a year to get comfortable, so I can't fault him for learning it slowly.

So many people from Ohio leave the state for jobs, the weather sucks etc yet EVERY DAMN ONE OF THEM thinks Ohio is the best place to live. There is even a website for Ohioans living in SC.

At least one Hokie fell that day. Richard "Rick" Blood marched in the VT Drumline for at least two years back in the 80s. He was 36 38. (Edited - mutliple sources say the latter age.)

I found out what happened because I need to unwind coming home from a night out. I was living in Alice Springs, Australia, and we'd gone to a culinary event at the local community college. With the time difference, at least one of the planes had hit while we were out. I'm more of a night person than my wife, so I turned on the TV when we got home. We didn't sleep for a while; since she was active duty USAF, and I've been a DoD employee since '88, though, we knew life was about to get pretty busy.
