1. Crummy how? I called him a dope which is accurate for a guy who created multiple Twitter accounts and accounts on TKP to simultaneously trash the website and exonerate himself.
2. Perhaps you haven't seen the latest depth chart, but once again Hill is the third TE and not Cline. Moreover, we run plenty of 2 TE looks and Malleck is gone next year and Bucky potentially is too.
3. Also, Chris' mom replied on Tuesday 9/8/15. 247Sports dropped their rumor that he was moving to TE on Thursday evening, earlier in the day was the first concrete time I heard it had any legs.
Bruce Fowler claims that he isn't losing his hair, his forehead is just growing.

Also, just realized:
Durkin wears #13.
LT was #3.
3 + 10 = 13.
3 + TEn = 13.
Illuminati.
Bruce Fowler thinks Furman will bring 20,000 fans to Lane Stadium.

Aye. Mostly because then his nickname would be "BLT" and no one outside of this community would have a clue why.

French charaterized Riley as a true out-side corner...not a good player for the nickel. One of the admins commented on Lawson not going after bad snaps in practice. What's wrong with walk-ons? SMFR. The GrimmReaper ...hey look a Collegiate Times article on....walk-ons! (http://www.collegiatetimes.com/news/virginia_tech/walk-on-players-help-b...)
Agreed. I don't think we've had great mike play for quite a while either, but the AM games we've seen thus far have been as bad as it gets.
I had been in the Army only 2 years when 9/11 happened. On 9/10 I had no plans to stay in for as long as I have. A couple of years ago I posted a synopsis of my day on here under a similar thread so I won't repeat it here. RIP to the victims, first responders, and thousands of military personnel who've lost their lives on that day and since then.
Mike depth is AM and two walk-ons. (and lydon who they are trying to RS)
Stroman has already practice some at WR and they have plays for him. Mook, Riley Adonis could play nickel.
Never heard anything about Lawson's lack of effort. Must have missed that.
So, if I remember correctly the spectrum of defensive players looks something like this (largest/slowest to smallest/fastest, left to right)
DT - DE - LB - S - CB
so you're suggesting we take someone from a position that is typically big/slow (relatively speaking) and move him to a position that requires a bit of speed to cover routes over the middle? I feel like that would basically be telling the other team "we only care about your run game, feel free to hit crossing routes all day."
All in favor?
If you ever need a good laugh, follow him on twitter. Hes pretty funny.
Seconded.
If he moves from QB to TE, I hereby move that we nickname him "Bizarro Logan Thomas"
Crazy idea for a solution to the Mike problem: Use one of our quicker DTs. At least they know how to shoot/fill gaps and won't be pushed out of the way like a small linebacker. If we have to rotate two of them to keep them fresh due to conditioning, then so be it. It's where we have the most depth.
what's really terrifying is that Durkin's mom is 6'2" (kidding)
If a Furman player tries to replicate a Braxton spin move and breaks his own ankle
Most definitely!!!

wasn't trey gresh 3rd string for a while? its not unheard of to have a walk on guy as a 3rd stringer I wouldn't think. I mean essentially a 4th stringer because brewer is the 1st string QB hurt or not.
The TE jokes never get old.
Ideal scenario
- 30+ lead at the half
- No injuries
- Everyone on the dress squad plays except for those redshirting who are dressed in emergency roles.
FWIW I was in the stadium 2 hours before the OSU game and I am relatively sure he was warming up with receivers gloves on and running routes. I was paying way more attention to Lawson, who is enormous in person by the way. Like you can't look away enormous. But I am pretty sure it was Durkin, I didn't really process what I was watching at the time. So yeah #sources.
I hate to say it, but that's how it looks to me. He's always running after the play, not involved in it. I can imagine his performance in practice being much better, and actual game-day performance being a completely different struggle, mentally.

pssh yeah right. those are probably the same sources that claim to have seen a Furman bus in Blacksburg.
