I didn't really see it continuing that way, after watching the game again and seeing the adjustments tOSU made. also, expected tOSU to pull away because of OSU's depth. I hope Brewer has as quick a recovery as possible and will be cheering for VaTech! GO BUCKS! and GO HOKIES!

Technically, he's still a 4th string QB...so if we're in a situation where we're having to use him at that position because no one else can go, then it won't matter where he's been practicing, because the team has some more serious issues going on.

Had the day off, was watching the Today Show, and followed it all day. Same thing this morning, was watching MSNBC when they went to the Today Show that day. Still upsetting, but I'm still watching. As bad as it was, it could have been even worse. Had the buildings been full, a different hit on the Pentagon, the fourth plane not being brought down. It's still shocking.

Thank you for pointing that out. I originally read it as "Shai was somehow involved" but your take on it makes sense as well. If I'm misrepresenting the original poster's comment I apologize for that. It still feels very much like an "I know something you don't know but I'm not going to tell..." type of comment and bringing up the topic without adding anything of value to the discussion does nothing but spark speculation and rumors. That is my main issue with the comment.

Chad Morris is my favorite. The only issue I have there is will he stay after he has success? Say the Texas, USC, Penn State jobs open up while he's here and one of them likes him and his system. Does he jump ship? Texas and USC maybe in a heartbeat. Some SEC school (USCe) could jump on him as well after a 10-win season showing VT CAN have an offense.
If that happens, where are we? I know in this day and age, coaches move almost constantly unless you're Saban, Miles, Richt, Fisher, etc. Very short list of guys who stay with a team for 5+ years. It'll be interesting for sure.
I do not appreciate that you are implying that Shai was in some way involved with the Reavis situation.
I think it's the opposite. I think the person is saying that based upon Shai's actions and what they believe to be true of Reavis's actions that got him dismissed from the University, that it's surprising to them that Shai is still allowed to be here. That's what I understood. Still, I agree that spreading anything close to a nasty rumor is not needed. We know nothing of Reavis's situation and it will likely stay that way. With Shai's case, it's the responsibility of the court to determine what happened and they have done so. Now we can move on.

French, you mentioned that Clark played in the box quite a bit. I remember how Bonner would play in the box sometimes last year while Jarrett played almost at robber depth.
I get that Clark is a tackling expert, but wouldn't it make more sense to play your SS closer to the LOS instead of your FS?
