Great writeup, love the in depth analysis and video footage you don't really get a clear view of from North Endzone. Facyson and Fuller not being 100 percent obviously had an impact. On the other hand, I'm of the opinion that the offense still did not move the ball at all; causing the defense to be on the field a longer time. Near the end of the third quarter our defense looked gassed. Edit* Now that I'm looking at the right stats.....they destroyed us.....

They could announce one of three things to make me happy:
1. that I could have a helicopter ride to and from (I'm deathly afraid of the traffic situation),
2. I get free tix (way too expensive for my blood)
3. they have scheduled a home/home to go with this

none of the three are particularly likely.

I know they say they had a package for him for OSU and I believe that but I really do wonder what it was? I mean we saw Motley come in and run the read option a couple times in the 1st half so that wasn't dwaynes "package" we ran trey off tackle twice in a row from the 3 so that wasn't dwaynes "package" im just really curios as to what his role would have been.

Riley...why the hell wasn't Riley in there? That INT last year would of been in the back of whoever was at QB's mind, the same way Kendall's skills were (they never threw it to the guy he was on if that guy wasn't clearly open, ala Thomas' double move)...

When an analysis includes "because Brewer was out", or "after Brewer went down", as if that were the root cause, it appears to be an excuse to me, as it claims to know the unknowable.

Same with statistics. Statistics show correlation, not causality.

Some relationships can neither be proven nor disproven. That's all I'm saying. I'm not faulting any analysis, and I'm not following any particular person's argument closely enough to be directing the comment at any individual. It just seemed that that's where the statistics might be leading, so I plopped the comment there.

"We have a huge stadium and our team is terrible. Attendence is down, what do we do?"

" Charge the other team's band. Those poor bastards have no choice but to watch this trainwreck."

I assume the rationale went something like that.

Is this that unusual? They're taking up seats in the stadium. I would certainly hope that we collected ticket proceeds for every seat that was used by the Ohio St band this weekend.

marc leals 1st throw against BC went for 80yrds and TD to marcus davis fwiw. (although that was in a blow out)

I think lefty had a great game plan for brewer. when brew went down 1 of 2 things happened. either motley wasn't up to speed on the playbook which considering his time in the program seems ridiculous or lefty didn't trust mot to run the playbook effectively which seems more likely because it was CLEAR that the play calling was scaled back dramatically once mot came in.

We have had a strange string of almost zero depth at quarterback. Which isn't too surprising, our offense hasn't screamed "grooming NFL QB's" for the majority of these recruits lives.

edit: Very excited about Lawson, It would seem he isn't ready yet though. But who knows how the season will play out.
