While Fuller at least played enough to get beat on a double move in the fourth, I too am concerned about his health. Just watching him run on field, he just didn't look quite right, and I thought this in the 2nd quarter. Fingers crossed.

Speaking of Buckeye fans being the tits, Mrs. APFOW and I went to Joe's for breakfast and sat beside some Buckeye fans. After some pleasant breakfast convos and some good-natured ribbing the two bought our breakfast after much protesting. We invited them back to our tailgate, but unfortunately they didn't make it. We did share some friendly texts throughout the game though.
I think Brewer took a redshirt at TT. So a medical hardship waiver is out. He would have to apply for an exemption to get a sixth year of eligibility. That only happens if he's done for the season. And if he is, I think there's a real chance he gets it, only playing one half of football.
I think if we are doing okay by the time Brewer is cleared, you go for the sixth year. No guarantees it's granted; the NCAA doesn't award a lot of sixth years. But with Brewer's situation I think they might. Then you look at the possibility of Brewer and Lawson both being available next year.
If he didn't get a medical waiver at TT then my understanding is yes. However I think he got one at TT for his back.

Follow-up to that, say Lawson gets the nod and by end of season is actually doing really well. Does Brewer come back or does Lawson stay in?
I really hope you and some of the other OSU fans will hang around this season. Hated losig like this when the first half showed what a great game it could have been.

I actually didn't see any difference in play selection with Motley in, after the spoonfed high completion passes to get his legs under him phase. What I saw was a QB who was incapable of executing the offense at the level Brewer had been executing it all night.
unfortunately for you guys, he says right on his bio he is OSU faithful. not one of your better ambassadors. Oh and all the people commenting on it with glee are mostly OSU fans as well. pure class
No kidding....kept trying to remind other OSU fans how electric he is with the ball in his hands cause even they seemed to forget. I'd honestly put that juke in his top ten, but he's made me spit my beer and pick my jaw up off the floor so many times that that just brought back fond memories.
I feel bad for coach Lefty. He can't catch a break.
I've broken a collarbone. A lot is going to depend on how bad, where, and if its a full break. I marched in a drum corps world championship 6 weeks after I broke mine, I cannot imagine playing football. I'm not optimistic about him at all. I'm confident the QB room is going to be hot this week.
Sigh - that's about all I've got... Sigh. Im not going to hinge my week on a game, I had a blast tailgating and spending the afternoon in the Burg. The stadium was rocking, and looking back I got to see a very good OSU team play. That spin move was ridiculous, I hate you so much Braxton Miller....

It was a blast. I want to put this out there, though: I know for a fact that 3 benches (and possibly a 4th) collapsed in NEZ tonight. No one got hurt but I actually have serious doubts about those seats after looking at them when the stands emptied out.
Not sure what that has to do with anything, considering I'm sure a lot of TKP members had never heard of a quality site like 11W before we were playing VT either....But TKP has been a quality site from all of my interactions with it.

With Loffler in his 3rd year, Brewer in his second and all the weapons we have, I really expected good things this year. Every thought/outcome I had envisioned about this game, I never once imagined that Brewer would get injured. Now I am not sure how to feel. I guess I will stay positive and have faith in the coaching staff to adapt. Plus, if history tells us anything, the loser of the OSU/VT game as gone on to win the national championship 100% of the time.

where is he getting destroyed? Mike Thomas is just trash talking. Saying he was owning Kendall all night. Broke his ankles. Big deal. We did worse trash talk in little league baseball than this.
I hate that we lost, but we have got to have thicker skin than this. We lost to the defending champions and #1 team in the nation. And we pulled ahead and were neck and neck at the half. that is DAMN impressive for an unranked team, let alone ANY team this year.

A solid response. I can respect that. Great depth being difference between elite teams and very good teams. And our QB wealth is a little unfair. Of course after this year we will be back to normal and then we will see what happens.... I think your weakness is also Braxton miller. I wouldn't leave him one on one with anyone. Then again, what do I know. I predicted he would be a decoy. Anyways, I do agree it would have been closer with brewer. I didn't care much for his bs bullet comment though. He was having a decent game, but isn't exactly Marcus mariota so not sure that type of smack is necessary. Regardless, he is a tough kid and earned our respect. Besides, our qbs have said much much dumber shit in the past. Anyways. Good luck to yall.
