In addition ECU was our first game that season and they had donated money to us to assist with the recovery. Hence we let them come out at the same time as the Hokies for Enter Sandman.

And that's the power of capitalism. Time will tell whether this was a net positive for Poor Billy's. As long as they don't start welcoming "the reigning ACC Coastal Champions Georgia Tech," then this will all fade away in no time.
They could have thrown a subtle jab in there and I would be fine with it. I would have liked to see them post the record from last year with a highlighted number 1.
This brings back a memory. Right after this happened when I was in high school our baseball team had a double header with Big Creek WV. Big Creek being so far away the entire school body was bused to the field for the day to watch the game. Right before it started our principal at the time showed up with a box of VT hats. Bland and Big Creek had a moment of silence before both teams were presented with the hats. As small as both schools were, it was a huge gesture that will forever be a very fond memory that I'll always remember.
I hope to crack a beer by 10:30 am that morning, then head over to the TKP tailgate and hang with you dudes and dudettes around 1:30.

Matt Moore kinda forgets what a football is until he's actually in a game that matters. Weirdly enough he does pretty respectable when needed. I'd rather have LT3 though, because he's a Hokie and all that.
As a lifelong Dolphins fan I'm totally excited about this.

Two observations:
1. The endzones in that video are hurting my eyes.
2. I think the unblocked extra defender was more damaging for OSU than OL inexperience.

Sure... hospitality is nice and I definitely agree with being gracious hosts.
But you can be gracious and welcoming hosts without ostracizing the locals. I saw this walking through downtown today and have zero desire to go in there. And I'll remember this down the line and probably won't stop by when I come again in the future. If you're willing to go that all out with your public support of a visiting fan base and are putting their experience as the top priority than I'll take my business elsewhere. I'm sure I'm not the only one who will come away from this weekend with the same feelings.
