Where might I find this magical ever-flowing bottle of Scotch?
7. Seriously? He punched a Clemson player?
A. Yup. Don't we wish we all could.
Had to re-read this most excellent post from last year. Hope to see more "Foe"rensics this season!
carp from the Duck Pond?
Welcome have a leg.
Long time lurker, first time poster..Go Hokies! Hard to hate on the Buckeyes with this kind of stuff.
Purdues cheerleaders or whatever they call them standing with the band are wearing jean shorts and tank tops. Do they even football, breh?
"Los Buckerinos" meaning the little bucks, or, in relation to your mascot, the little nuts? If you insist...
After reading this post, if I call you guys anOSU now, that makes a certified internet tough guy, correct?

Purdue's first play of 2015 is throwing a pick 6
We're tOSU, so thats what you call us. That or "their tOSUness" or "Los Buckerinos" if youre not into the whole brevity thing.
awesome--Logan Thomas coming to my team!
Sure, he can talk to himself on the plane but when I do it they have to make an "emergency landing" because I am "scaring the other passengers". Pffft
I can see it as a Welcome Buckeyes thing, a celebration of the fact that we are playing the #1 team on our home field and draw in the visitors for a drink and a slab of carp.
For sure a marketing ploy, but I feel like they are going to make some of their usual customers upset for the possibility of making a fast buck for this game
Amen! Show them a good time while they are in town. It will be over before we know it and we only have 1 chance. Go Hokies!
i think the sign would have been better if it just welcomed the Buckeyes in general to Blacksburg...unless it's a marketing ploy to get them over to Poor Billy's/Big Al's over the other bars

yes, it reads obsequious.
One quote I could find was:
Asked if Navy would be on Ohio State's schedule again any time soon, Meyer, who didn't have a hand in scheduling this game, had a quick response.
"That one was snuck in without any input from Coach Meyer," he said.
Not sure if that equates to not wanting to play them or setting up the schedule with a cupcake afterwards.
Having served with some boat schoolers I concur with your thoughts. One of the best games, in terms of pageantry, was when we played Navy at the Horseshoe and Joan Glenn doted the i. It was also our NROTC homecoming game so many of us had some mixed feelings during the game.
I love that drive. Especially with the windows down. Enjoy!
In the top 5 reasons we will win the author points out Navy, yada yada yada, teams lose afterwards, yada, yada yada, statistics. The previous year teams had a winning percentage after playing Navy, except for 2 teams that lost every game or almost every game the entire season, one upset to a team that lost later after playing Navy, IIRC. I don't buy that Navy makes it tough to prepare BS, I'm more worried that this is our first game instead of having a warmup to sort out the kinks.

If anyone sees any practice squad signings let me know on here.
