So besides lb conerns this is one of the best pre-seasons I can remember. I am super excited to see our offense play. I can't remember anytime that I have actually been excited to see the offense play.
RBs....wholly crap. WRs....first two impressive but with capable no 3 coming up and our plethora of TEs that's exciting. Brewer will be better.
Defense....well it's bud fosters D. It's always very capable. As long the Lb position doesn't get us in trouble the secondary and DL have the opportunity to be tops in the country.
BL....very excited for this team. Again, I don't know when we have had this much optimism for so many positions at the same time. This should be an exciting year. If we don't get to the ACCCG I think it will be a disappointment. Even if we don't pull off the win against OSU hopefully we have their year and win out the rest. Here's to re-matching OSU in the National Championship game.

Next Years Poster should be Like TCU's with Rogers or Bucky holding the flag in one hand, lunch-pail in the other and located in front of the west grandstands or the Beamer Barn. I would keep that forever.

I looked at Husson U and they play Gallaudet on Sept 24th.
S Virginia looks like they play Rhodes on Sept 5th..there is no redemption christian college on the schedule
livingstone does have Redemption CC on their schedule for 9/19

If only there was any football game this generation that allowed for online leagues and completely custom teams/rosters. There are plenty of folks who would "make" college football out of it.
They had injury issues as bad a we did. I think all but 2 starters on defense were hurt for a significant period of time. Plus they had a lot of guys decide to stick around and didn't graduate much from last year.
That is actually probably legit. Notre Dame had a pretty good team last year, but kinda lost their way after the FSU game which ended in benching Golson. Now they are returning essentially everyone. I think they are losing something like one starter on each side of the ball.

That's about right....but Notre Dame is ranked?? Amazing
I don't really see it as a charity, other than legally. I donate because I want to help pay for these kids to come to VT and entertain me on Saturdays. In return, they get an education and the world is a little bit better for it.
