I've experienced the type not registering also. Happens every so often where what I'm typing just doesn't show up or shows up with a 3-5 second lag time.
I love big hits, but damn near half of those looked dirty/illegal.

It's not all of the road to success, you still have to preform on the field and have a good coach to make the right calls.
But it's more about the fact that VT hasn't updated the recruiting philosophy to match the game today.
There are not enough Top players (4* & 5* recruits) for any one school to dominate
Alabama had 20 of the Top players signed in 2015
Ohio State had 15 of the Top players
VT had 3
Out of a total of 389 Top Players in 2015 Signing Class

I agree with you, generally, but I have two key points of differentiation:
1. College athletes are not and should not be held to the same level of scrutiny as professional athletes. These kids are amateurs, and have a stronger claim to privacy than those who get paid to be in the spotlight. And generally, I'd say this holds true. The FSU thing was only national news because of strong evidence of a coverup. The Duke case was big because it was so shocking and different. There are many, many contributions to the Fulmer Cup that go underreported.
2. Rape is different from other crimes. It's extremely sensitive to both parties prior to a conviction or acquittal. It's essentially the only crime that the mere accusation can ruin your life, even if you are totally, unequivocally NOT guilty. And it's also the most contentious once the media gets ahold of it. Most people take definitive stances, and we get a trial by media. That irrevocably taints any and all legal proceedings relating to that case. So that's the one big thing that I feel like was a positive precedent in this case at Baylor. They kept the media out until the courts could resolve it. Once the verdict comes down, THEN the media should report on the story. Because only then will they have a pretty complete narrative, and won't risk ruining an innocent person.
As you should be, those things are pricey.

Very nice. I liked that it was a different soundtrack than most of the typical videos. Nice change of pace.
Its a difficult comparison. I mean a school like Wisconsin gets the majority of the best players in state, but since it is such a talentless state, they're forced to look elsewhere for decent players. A team like UGA recruits so well that not only do they get the a good percentage of the best players in state, but they have enough draw to pull elite players from other states if they want to.
Tech isn't really like that. We don't dominate the states best players, but since we do have a decently talented state, we can still fill out a roster in state. We still go out of state, but can't pull talent like Clemson or Auburn does

As for Stanford I doubt a lot of private school kids dreaming of going to Stanford also made the Cut for the football program <-- entire generalization statement and maybe very wrong. But I think it is more how Stanford finds the best players in the country they can get
