College football in the late 80s was a lot different than it is today. There's more money. There's more TV and exposure. You can rebuild quicker, and you can also evaluate progress better because every game is on television.

Put it this way- who here thinks London just needs one more year to turn things around at UVA?

I got a strong feeling we'll be seeing both of them on the field early and often. If Frye hasn't solidified is spot as of yet, I'd imagine they will be slotting Alexander to get on the field anytime Frye needs a breather.

Once he gets his chance, it's go time.

If only there was an NCAA '16...

Have you ever heard of a cake chart? Nope, only pie charts.

"It's a piece of cake" implying things are easy, soft, and, perhaps, not worthy of the same level of respect (depending on context). "It's a piece of pie" doesn't exist and doesn't make sense unless you're faking a really bad Italian accent while saying it's a pizza pie.

Cakes need icing or frosting or a glaze, something to modify them so you're not just eating cake. Pies do not have this problem.

When baked properly, a pie is a beautiful thing on its own; ready for the camera as soon as it comes out of the oven. Again, cakes need some form of make up, otherwise they look like extremely fluffy pieces of bread.

"Pie" is a term that can refer to any number of delicious dishes, not all of them desserts. Pizza pie, apple pie, pecan pie, cheesecake (once again, it has a crust and a custard-like filling, it's a pie), tarts, the list goes on.

I know not what course others may take. But as for me, give me pie or give me death. Except my grandmother's rum cake. Which has rum. So that's not really fair.

You're missing the Point

Alabama, auburn, Ohio State, Florida State don't care about recruiting to win the state

in 2014 Alabama

Had the #1 Recruiting Class

7 of 28 recruits were from Alabama

Of those 7, one was not a 4* recruit

2014 OHio St had the #3 Class

16 of 31 recruits were from Ohio

2014 Auburn had #6 class

8 of 26 recruited players were from Alabama- who won alabama?

FSU, same thing. even in the Heart of HS Football country

VT #27 class

15 of 30 recruits from VA, improvements

Schools are recruiting the Top talent nationwide

whether that is Alabama and auburn recruiting the 15 4/5 star players in Alabama or the 19 4/5 star players in Virginia

Winning definitely helps. All top players I'd say want to be in the best teams, but also want to play in the best games. Niether VA school has had a Primetime game, not even Night game recently til OSU.

Sam Rogers is as valuable as anyone on our offense. That we got an athlete like Sam Rogers to walk-on is a tribute to VT, NOT a statement about SR. He "might" be our offensive MVP. No shame in getting housed by Sam IMO

Does he get a prize for being the 40,000th? :)

Pairs nicely with cookies to create an ice cream cookie sandwich. Also pairs nicely with cake to make a decent ice cream cake. Also, very good with brownies, which are a form of cake.

As such, #teamicecream is a versatile dessert.

YEAHHHHH!
Now I'm pumped. I was a little disappointed with billdozer this year, a first...tho I couldn't put why into words...No I can't put why this is so much better into words. LEGS! LEGS! Give that man ALL THE LEGS!
