It is becoming clear to me that I am struggling to get my point across. I have never had, nor do I currently have, any ill feelings towards greek-life. My point is that the argument supporting greek-life undermines itself when it uses a derisive phrase to identify non-greek individuals. The sense I got from the original comment was that GDI was a commonly used term among fraternities. If that is not the case than I'm fine with that but it doesn't change the fact that the term was used in an argument supporting greek-life, thus undermining the argument. In the same sense I would strongly disagree with an argument supporting non-greek life that undermines itself by referring to all greek-life individuals in a derogatory manner.
Getting the tackle stats, (as is the case with almost ALL stats, IMO) can be misleading.

And that run by Trey that French put up didn't ease any concern in that department. I don't like to be critical, because tackling a guy heads up, as opposed to an angle, is one of the hardest things to do on the football field. The back is SUPPOSED to win that battle and at least fall forward.
Still, if someone doesn't step up and stone the OSU RBs on a semi-regular basis, we will be seeing that over and over again, I think.

But really, the level of offense in this subthread is too damn high. While GDI CAN be used derogatorily, it's far more common to see it used as a point of pride for those not in a frat. If people pay attention to the tone of how words are used, and not the words themselves, they'll have a whole lot fewer problems.
Boykin may have gotten a boost to make the roster for all the wrong reasons just now. Kelvin Benjamin just went down with a non-contact knee injury in training. I'm devastated and hoping for the best, but it's likely that the Panthers will need the depth at WR to step it up now.

I just put together a small playlist of the songs I think best represent Brad Paisley's music. I listen to his music regularly, and generally like his stuff. He tries to be politically aware, has fun with wordplay, and is an immensely talented guitar player. He also makes it a point to be respectful of "old country", and continue those traditions in the context of the modern day.

We are building toward having a great 2016 OL, all will be getting more experience and Austin Clark will be a factor. Also, any new recruits( Landon Dickerson,hopefully).

I'm hopeful of this position, but wary. This position needs to be one of our strongest, and as we sit on Aug 19, it looks like a liability. It seems, in the past, that we have been able to just insert the next man up, and that's been enough. Much like an owl hunts, this position demands instinct, decisiveness, quickness. Let's hope above all else, Andrew finds himself in the right gap. I trust he'll make the play, if he reacts correctly. If not, OSU's Elliot will have a field day.
You have two QBs in Cardale and Barrett that are pass/run dual threats. Why do they even need a 3rd wildcat option? Just seems like a waste of time. Agree on that point about Miller, though.

Nope, he almost caught a touchdown in the Military Bowl from Isaiah Ford but was knocked out of bounds at the 3 yard line. He did score after picking up Marshawn's fumble against GT though.
I was at that show too, believe it or not. Amazing how his drummer could get so much sound out of that barebones kit.

may not have been as "good" but he would have been just as physical, which is what the line has been missing for a long time. i'd rather have a guy out there making a few mistakes but planting people when he's doing it right than a guy that is doing it by the book but generating no push.
You can say that again, Elliott may seek out Motu. Guy seems a little too timid at times.
