my prediction is that OSU loses to VT again this year

So, we can fly the drone before the game, after the game, halftime and timeouts? Those technicalities, they'll get after ya.
Because those are not drones. These rules are for drones only. There are different rules for manned flights over stadiums and events. Manned aircraft fly above 3,000 AGL (above ground level)
ODU at 90
UVA at 99.....
Yeah, he certainly bit on the fake screen pass by the QB, but before that he was flowing defense-left. I think the point was he should've been attacking the LOS instead of flowing laterally with the RB.
There are other defenders to defense-left / play side who have those gaps covered, and in fact Williams even maintains leverage to the left despite being pushed downfield and eventually is the one who makes the tackle.
The Cam/Benjamin connection IS unreal, and there's no way that franchise would let go of Benjamin for a very, very long time. This one will hurt if it's worst case.
I'm just commenting to give my opinion, on your opinion, of why everyone else shouldn't have an opinion.
Yikes, Fig Newton can't catch a break down there. Hopefully Benjamin returns 100%. Would love to have him on the Ravens. The Flacco/Benjamin connection would be unreal.
Probably because technically, the game isn't occurring at that time. It's pre-game.
Well after VT beats anOSU AGAIN they will be top 20 team for sure.

Which was completely ridiculous to do last year at the time, but looking at how the season ended for both teams it doesn't seem so crazy now. But your right, if VT beats us again this year the voters will still probably rank us higher the next week. Which is extremely unfair, but I think voters will also remember how VT and OSU went in literally opposite directions after that game. Personally, my prediction is that OSU loses to VT again this year, but then goes undefeated the rest of the way and makes the playoffs. VT is just literally the worst scheme matchup in the country for what OSU likes to do. Nobody else OSU might face this year in regular season or playoff even comes close to presenting the same problems.
There has to be exceptions to this. Otherwise, how does anyone ever do a flyover or parachute into stadiums?
It could be huge, and I would not be surprised if we see a push from WVU students/alumni to flood Blacksburg for this. Those guys absolutely invaded Pittsburgh for a Kenny Chesney concert earlier this year (leaving the city absolutely trashed in the process) so I could see it happening.
This is ridicuous! I've never heard any greek or non-greek individual use this term! It's not widespread!
Here are the 3 types of people using it (who I've never met):
1. Someone who's using it about themself to differentiate themself from the greek community. Which is silly because you are just putting more weight on your status as greek or non-greek
2. Someone who's in the greek community about someone else. This is also silly because who cares if someone's greek or not. If you care (with the exception of care about people you're trying to rush), you're also being silly.
3. You're non-greek using it about someone else, which you should refer to 1.
AND if you're offended by it, please tell me you've heard it personally as a derogatory term towards you or someone you know DIRECTLY and not simply from a hokie football forum.
I remember wondering why in the world would they draft him. It was a terrible fit all around.
ok, so we paint the drone luftwaffe grey and only fly it at night games, above the lights. No one will ever see it.
Or we convince Whit to do a "test run" of the fireworks when there isn't a game and we can get the cool footage of the fireworks. Might have to green screen the entire stadium so we can put fans in later
Not sure who or how they evaluated it, but the number they were given is around 40,000. Granted that is a standing room only estimate, as people are being asked not to bring lawn chairs or coolers.
Yeah, he was brought in to be their heir to the throne of Steve Young. Having a immobile QB replace a mobile QB without overhauling the OL to compensate is never a good idea.
Are they taking applications for the Arizona Navy? Sign me up
He got drafted by the 49ers, and I think it was just a terrible scheme fit. Druck was great in the vertical passing game, was tough and could stand in the pocket for slow-developing pass plays, and flourished in an offense with a strong power run game and deep passing game. The dink-and-dunk quick timing routes with the 49ers and their west coast offense just didn't fit with his style at all.
Respectfully disagree. Its a big dose of revisionist history to believe that there was a ton of confidence in Randall prior to that 2004 season. In fact, most of the reason that people didn't think anything of our chances in the ACC that year was because he, and not Marcus, was going to be leading the team. I do agree that he had a couple games that made him look awesome (that Syracuse OT game and the Cal bowl) but for every one of them there were games where his mistakes cost us bigtime (2002 WVU game sticks out a ton, as does the disaster in 2003 against WVU, as well as the ineffective games against Pitt, and the head scratching OT win at Temple). His game was consistently inconsistent, and there was little reason to believe that ACC POY campaign was about to start.
I would say he and Brewer were at a very similar, if not identical point in VT lore at this point in their career. Randall made a name for himself during that Senior year. Let's see what Brewer's got.
I remember noticing the same during the Boston College game from time to time.
