My volume comment to my girlfriend at the shoe last year was that OSU third down was about the base volume for VT defense. Maybe I was being nice, as she heard me when I said it.
Although after they get the football, I notice a lot of the Buckeye fans stayed in their seats and watched the offense play. Nobody yells "Punt. Just Punt already!" on first down (okay, that was only 2007).
We had to stick around and sing church music afterwards. Their band was sponsored by TV Land. Definitely different.

I agree completely. And when he ran the option it was so effective. He was quick enough to get yards but not so fast that defenses were ever worried about him, which gave him opportunities. And the guy was impossible to injure in the pocket. The 1996 game at Miami, he took hellacious shots and just carried on like nothing ever happened.

That sounds about right. He just became eligible and joined practice late.
I don't know how other people feel, but I think it's a given either Shai or Juice will redshirt this year. I personally think it will play out that they both could be redshirted if JC/Trey/McMillian perform well. I think they will hold off for as long as possible before playing Shai due to the fact that JC is a Senior and Trey a junior. No matter what I think Juice will redshirt just to make sure that knee is good to go, but hey anything can happen as far as injuries and this could change (see 2014 season).
so, Kevin, what you're saying is we need to invest in an official TKP drone so we can get video of closed practices. It would last maybe a day then Hughes would take it down, but it might be worth it...
I'm recording it, I'll share any insights I find, although it won't be on Frenchs level I can assure you.

I believe that's Jahque Alleyne. Note that he's not in pads. Alleyne just started Friday. Has to go through non-pads for a couple days under NCAA rules before he can be full.

I did 6 and out. I was at MARF for prototype! I miss that place, geriatric men on Schwinn's with AK's strapped to their back, sneaking out to castle greyskull for tours, seeing the D1G ball... Best 3 mrem I ever got.
Even got picked up ELT! Moved across from the racetrack and the fun continued. Then reality kicked in and my stupid orders said I won the 'Prise. It was all downhill from there.
