Yeah, right? First strike, the man brings in the walk-ons and intramural heros and rescinds the semi-pro's schollies. What a mess! Honestly, I'm not really sure what to make of all this. Not sure who to root for. Guess I'll just appreciate the humorous side of it for now.
What's interesting is how much worse this music goes with the video than the original...
OMG, same. Except I was in the top tier of South, not with the HTs. Miserable, miserable feeling when we figured out why everyone else wasn't cheering...
Did you ever contribute to support an activity you participated in along side other people who also contributed towards it? You've never joined a country club or yacht club? Did you ever pool money with your roommates to throw a party? You know, like donations towards a website where you enjoyed spending your time, or donations to an athletic department because you wanted to help them improve?
Think of it more as pooling your money for some cause you supported, or activity you enjoyed. It's not really all that different. You're not buying friends as much as you're pooling your money to throw parties and sponsor events.

That one handed grab was sexy.
I was in the SEZ in the HT's and from our angle it looked good. Then that horrible feeling when we realize he missed.
Full disclosure: I'm not a music person in general, and I could generally care less about marching bands. But the first time I watched the OSU band march out of the tunnel at Ohio Stadium, I got goosebumps and tingles. And every time I have watched them do it since (40 times?) I have the same response. They are an impressive group - and have been over decades. What they do with animating formations is amazing, and I admire their hard work.
That said, I'm not going to argue with anyone over marching bands, and some of the stuff that came out about traditions, hazing, songs, etc. were pretty embarrassing and disgusting. But in the end, hundreds of thousands of people buy tickets to see Ohio State football, and TBDBITL is an adjunct to that. That's my perspective FWIW.

# | Snapchat Day 10 Observations- McLaughlin Back at LT, Hansen in Blue, Teller still with the 2's Dadi Nicolas is working during team work (not full contact- forming up against blocks) in a blue jersey and he still is wearing a cast. Maddy was playing nose. It looks like they were working in 30 fronts (DE's out wide, not in tight as 5 techniques) with Clarke blitzing from the inside.
Tim Settle was working as a blocker on the field goal team.

# | Charley Wiles, Torrian Gray Discuss D-Line, DBs, Respectively After Scrimmage I Gray may be on to something with his comment about Facyson. With our defense this year, "exceptional plays" should be a new tracked stat.
Also, it is time to give Wiles some props. He has recruited and worked hard to develop ridiculous depth at defensive tackle. We have 5 guys that would start for the majority of teams in the ACC. And, if Mihota comes up big this year and Gaines and Hill develop like I think they will, we may be in better shape at d-end than we know.

Maybe I'm the minority, but I never split the cost of groceries/alcohol/etc with roommates unless it was to specifically throw a party or if I felt like sharing my beer in the fridge.

Randall really struggled in 2002 and in conference play in 2003. He received quite a bit of criticism and I don't think anyone expected him or the team to play the way they did in 2004.
DL to OL is a common move across all of college football, and nothing to worry about if it continues. The problem is if you see us not landing recruits projected at OL and just shrugging it off thinking we'll be fine just converting from other positions. (The Newsome Effect)

"At linebacker in this scrimmage, Andrew Motuapuaka is really playing well. He had a good scrimmage. Deon Clarke, same story, he was a factor in a lot of plays and he's really playing fast.After that, Sean Huelskamp was productive in both the run and pass game. And, Dahman McKinnon was a bright spot for us. He was just very active and had good awareness. Our first two guys have experience, and our backups, I feel very confident that they will play well,and in our third group, Carson Lydon is very improved. His key reads are much better. Much better than in the spring. Jamieon Moss is also very solid. Also, let me point out my young guy Tremaine Edmunds. He's long, he's explosive and I think Tremaine is going to be an outstanding player for us down the road."
Yeah, it's a QB issue, not a WR issue. Think of all those circus catches Ford made last year on poorly thrown balls. We're lucky we were 4th to last.
