Arty community has a simple one, too - FIFI (F**k it, Fire it)
...and it reminds me of the Victoria's Secret fashion show specials that air every year
....
You still get Wilson behind him, who looked good with his limited snaps
I predict that scalded dogs will run and nuts will be played off.
As a freshman in 2004 I went to Wade's supermarket to have my "Girls of the ACC" Playboy signed by the VT gals who represented our fine institution. Oh the memories...
I don't think we have any idea what we'll see from the offense this year.
We may not have a RW, but I don't even know what that means. He was extremely good than not so much while here.
Also if we have two backs who end up in the slot alot running pass patterns against LBs, Safeties, nickel CBs... I could see Brewer being a better QB than TT.
Watching TT play this weekend, I was reminded that a defense spread is an offensive line and RB upgrade. I think we've got some real potential to spread defenses with our RBs, TEs, and WRs.
I dunno we haven't necessarily seen it in practices / scrimmages... so maybe it is another delusion of mine.
My point is in relation to his injury history. If you were to guarantee 2009 Ryan Williams all year like what happened, that is clearly better. However with him being injured so often I would think that would be too big of a risk to have no real threats behind him.
What's funny is that I thought that was a photo of the football team, not the band.
I admire that -the man's got moxie... and apparently a serious tailgate schedule.
Let's not forget they also did this.

I don't dislike them, but damn do I want to beat them on national television.
Again.
Let's go.
I had season tickets for a good while, but before and after, it was first, friends. Secondly, get there early, maybe three hours before the game. Go directly to the parking lot/tailgate scene. Start in the closest to the stadium, we called it the "high rollers" lot. Be dressed in your Hokie finest, be sober, and be friendly. Stop at tailgates and tell the folks you're after tickets. Be polite if they don't, be ready with cash if they do. I found that these folks aren't looking to make a killing on a ticket, generally, but rather would like to get their (or their friend's that couldn't come) money back and put Hokie butts in the seat. Not always true, some want an extra pound of flesh, but I seldom had to pay more than 10 bucks over face value, and usually got them for face. Once, a friend and I couldn't find tickets for a while so we went up to where the ticket office was and asked around there. A fellow at the "will call" window heard us asking and offered a couple of tickets to us. Free. Fifty yard line seats. Turned out, he was Bimbo Coles' high school football coach and had been given free tickets himself. Really nice guy, great seats. Been to waaaaay too many games to remember what game that was, but it was a good one with tough to get ducats. Persistence pays off, but I wouldn't go this route with guests coming to town or if you have to have more than one ticket sitting together. At that point, I'd probably go with stubhub or something.
Uhh, Ryan Williams vs our current stable is no wash. He was an NFL back before injury. None of these backs are close to his caliber. Agree with most of the post though. Leg to you.

ETA: Also, VT averaged 23 points per game last year and still managed to lose to wake...
that's strange...I don't remember playing wake
Good point. I probably put too much emphasis on some of the ugly losses to those two over the years (2003 and 2006 come to mind, specifically), and you're correct that neither of them is likely to hold VT to 10 points this year. Maybe we beat BC and lose to UNC, or NCSU, I dunno...

well..I'm not debating it...I just thought it was interesting. It could certainly happen. 10-2 would be a good year for us IMO. I'll drink some of that koolaid
Redshirt him and let the young man settle in his freshman yea
It's contagious, I tell ya....
oh I'm well aware of that..which is why (I can't find it presently) I've been quoted on here somewhere saying that I could see us beating OSU and then turning around a losing a stupid game like Purdue...I think everyone can agree that the chances of VT going 1-1 against the B1G are pretty high. What most people won't expect, is that the win comes against OSU and the loss comes at the hands of the boilermakers.
For instance, last season I could have predicted we would be 2-2. We were. But I never would have dreamed that one of those wins would be against OSU and one of those losses would be to ECU. But that's Virginia Tech Football for you (at least...VT football from the last half decade or so...)
I remember Wade's as well.

Dream... but a more attractive female. (Reality, stubhub and friends)
You've gotta remember this IS Virginia Tech Football we're talking about...
man he's huge...
(phrasing -we're still doing that, right?)

Live on CBS every year...
