I don't see this as the same thing as focusing a lot of attention on special teams.
This is basically one trick play, there is a pretty high cost when it doesn't work.

Durkin reminds me a bit of Tim Tebow at this point. Would be interested in seeing him coming in and doing some of those things Tebow did at Florida, especially near the goal line. Lots of options to have to defend there.
All of us trying to ask questions to Frank from so far away with no mics was a site to behold. At one point, he had to walk up to a reporter to hear the question, then trudge back to the podium to answer it.
You call it a gimmick. I call it a strategic advantage. Clearly it works in Arkansas prep football.
Also, at all levels, linemen on both sides seem to play with injured hands all the time.

This seems like they had 3 different directors for this and then just threw it all together into one commercial. They could have done much better in my opinion. Maybe I'm just getting old though.

Not to belittle his accomplishments late in the season (which were significant), but it didn't hurt that he had August legs in November and that Wyatt Teller put the pieces together making the whole offensive line a little better in the run game. And 3 of the 4 teams weren't particularly good run defenses.
