Leaning out your window waiting.
Well, that's one way to settle a QB controversy. Maybe someone pulled a Tonya Harding and hired this dude to remove Smith from the starter's spot.
....and thus began the deceased equine flagellation.
Still waiting for the truck to show up at my house...

It's pronounced "Kevin."

I wish this rumor and wish would die a horrible death.

# | Hokies Ponder How to Best the Buckeyes Again, as Excitement Builds for "Most Anticipated Game Ever" Hell yeah!! Rock on! :)
Good reminder. The support and solidarity we received from so many places was incredibly meaningful and important. I may poke some fun (that's what sports are for!), but I have a lot of respect for the OSU program, for this and other reasons.
Not THIS girl. I HATE country music. Give me rock 'n' roll any day.
Reaching out to Metallica to play in Blacksburg: "One thing I will say just to put this to bed, we do not have Metallica in here. We will still certainly use 'Enter Sandman.' Metallica, when we checked, we do have some connections to their manager, I believe they're touring Amsterdam, Germany, etc. So Blacksburg was not on that. But we have talked to them. But that is something that we're working on. We're working for dates next year. I don't know that it will work out or that it will be a full-blown concert by any stretch, but if we ever have them play here, they've been good to Tech and I think we've been good keeping their name and music in the limelight as well."

This was very sad news, indeed. I dug up the old thread he started when the Black Uni campaign was launched, but there was some stupid stuff in the comments that got OT and a bit heated (tangents, they'll get after ya), so I didn't post it. I only knew Brandon virtually, but he was fun to interact with here and on Twitter. Not everyone supported our #BlackUni4BlackFriday idea, but you gotta love his heart and desire to do something he believed in on behalf of Hokie Nation.
Rest in peace, fellow Hokie and TKPer.
Shane said he and Frank were set to play golf with Arizona coach Rich Rodriguez
Can't wait to see how some of you spin this one
Hey he's a really hard working fun guy who just happens to be a complete goofball
I'm hoping Fisher can work it out, I still believe he could have a bright future! Sounds great on Settle!
I said "most notable." Sure they have all of those things and yes I envy them for that. But all anyone ever talks about with Oregon is the jerseys. Even when Mariotta was winning a Heisman, it was Jameis with the headlines.
CenturyLink is the corporate sponsor of the stadium. They are a pretty large landline phone/internet service provider. But, excellent architectural analysis. I've always loved how steep the stands are at Lane compared to old style bowl stadiums like the Big House, LA Coliseum, etc. Definitely seems more imposing from the field and holds in the noise. I would really like to see, down the road, the NEZ expanded to trap in more noise and close in that part of the stadium more. Any thoughts on what possibly could be done there? I know space and the new video screen are obstacles to renovation. Seems to me we could maybe remove the current bleachers and make a similar concrete structure, and put a very wide upper deck or mezzanine on each side of the screen connecting with the West and East sides and built level with the top of the screen.
I am sure the players sign some stuff that says their likeness may be used in promotional things for the school and the departments as well as announcements about their status. Seeing that the video doesn't reveal anything that hasn't already been released(he is rehabing a publicly known injury), I think it would be ok.
I would think the closest thing to a HIPPA concern would be announcing a player's injury diagnosis publicly.

Also golfed with Jim Grobe and Dan Mullen.
The takeaway? Coaches like to golf.
