As someone who walked around in the stands selling drinks last year, whenever I got assigned the water tray, I knew it wasn't going to be a productive day. People refused to buy water for $4, especially when they could get a soda for the same price.
So yay, for lower water prices
Luck is what happens when opportunity meets preparation.
Yea, they got some breaks, but they were also ready for them.
^This, and more ^this (Alum07)
Wonder how many times he's said "Tweedy" accidentally.
Still watching this a week later, and this is my reaction every time.

Whit's clearly making an effort, and effort leads to results.
I thought the ending was fine. Maybe not perfect, but it worked.
At best an AD can decide the times of 1-2 games a year, and that means the game is against a really bad FCS team and VT is not expected to be good.
I had to do something similar for TKP and wiki was accurate.
possibly backed up...it took them a day or so when I applied. As long as your handle isn't objectionable you should get on. for instance "TheVoiceOfReason" would not be tolerated. Very similar rules to TKP.

Yea, I like seeing Facyson with the football...
name to watch out for is Greg Stroman.. hearing he has lined up in slot a lot already and if he continues down the path he will push for time as well.
They weren't a great defensive team last year but they were top 5 in offensive efficiency and explosiveness and were the best team in college football at finishing drives in the red zone. As long as they have that QB running the offense they're going to be good again.
They left out less noon games but I suspect Whit is doing the best he can with that..
Was the philosophy any different in 1999 though? I know now we use the gap fit scheme to free up a defender (usually a LB or S) in the hole or for a spill but was it the same before?
Did anyone else get mic'ed up?
If only Shane... Hmmmmm
French I'm assuming your going to break down the behind the scenes show the BIG network is doing of anOSU practices?
Really interested in seeing JC line up in the slot. Could be a potential fix if no 3rd WR steps up. Having him or McMillan lineup in the backfield and then motion them out to the slot could create a lot of mismatches and 1 on 1 situations with linebackers. I think we have the depth at running back (knocking on wood) to do it. Excited to see what the offense can do this year.
Just like my film reviews.... if Ohio State coaches find something from a column that a beat writer publishes that is valuable enough that they depend on it to game plan, then those coaches are not worth a damn anyway. I think a bunch of this intrigue comes from the guy on the opposite sideline. I have received the impression that the coaching staff doesn't regard Urban Meyer as the most honorable guy. Perhaps it reverts next year. In Loeffler's first year the scrimmages were open.
Registering for The Key Play like:

Might have only been practice #1, but Bud's angry scowl is already in midseason form.
I applied for a membership about a week ago now and never heard back. They could be either backed up or not taking applications from Hokies right now.
On an aside, I had to answer trivia questions to submit my application. I hope Wikipedia is accurate...
I would post a gif of Jim Carey retching, but Im pretty sure I already did that in this thread...
It is nice to see the Athletic Department investing in the fan experience for the average folk for a change. For the longest time, the AD catered solely towards those who gave the most money, and demanded everyone else step in line. Now, it seems like the average fans are actually starting to be appreciated and the university is starting to give back a little bit. When people see that some of their money is actually going towards a cause that will actually improve their own experiences, they'll be willing to give more, and I suspect we'll see a major uptick in Hokie Club giving over the next few years.
