I hope Braxton is ready to take a hit from Deon Clarke after catching a pass out of the backfield
That is an ugly indoor field.
I hope he keeps up that intensity through the whole month.
I feel confident I could do this as well...
F = M * A
JC can bring the Acceleration, and he can dead-lift my house, but he just ain't got enough Mass to generate much Force.
Even more NUTHUGGING
anOSU QB warmups
Running a route at half speed covered by an ESPN reporter making you look good is not the same as being game ready. AnOSU fans are going to go nuts over this thinking he is the next Calvin Johnson or Percy Harvin.
Because the QB discussion and how our defense got lucky by catching them at the wrong time is so much more fun to talk about. I'd say /s but we all know it's true. But yes, that will be the big thing: can our DL get as much penetration and blow up plays in the backfield as they did last year - or more, can our new safeties tackle in space, and can we keep Elliott from taking a 3 yard gain and making it into a 70 yard house call?
If the answer is "yes" to all 3 questions, we win.
Newborns.....they'll get after ya!
Not sure beating Brandon Facyson with inside leverage on a quick slant is as easy as burning some fat guy at half speed. If BM can do that, more power to him.
Question... why are we not talking about OSU's running game? That was the critical factor in their last two wins last year? Haven't seen it brought up... because if our D-Line misses him on one play they can be lights out.
Get on our level, Buckeys.
Your move, Meyer.
I was not at the game. I usually don't get a chance to go... $$$ **sigh**
Anyway, what I can tell you is, if given the chance, tOSU fans will take over....this is from '09 and scum was not very good. but still...
I was really impressed with the Nebraska fans that showed up when they came down to Lane to watch "The Comeback"! They were polite and were even willing to play football with the cadets before the game on the drill field. After that interaction, kind of felt bad how they lost but that only happened for like half a millisecond.
We've got 'em right where we want 'em.
were you at the game last year? I'm just curious about your take of it if you were. I had multiple OSU fans tell me that they had never seen as many fans for an opposing team show up to a game at the Shoe. One fan said we were the loudest travelling fans he could remember in his 40+ years of attending games at OSU and I heard another fan say that we brought more fans than teams like Michigan (for the record, the second fan-ecdote was from a younger fan and Michigan hasn't been very good lately). Does any of that sound accurate?
In my experience, the most fans I've ever seen in Lane from an opposing team came from Clemson. I fully expect to see more OSU fans in Blacksburg than any other opponent I've seen to date. Lane is quite a bit smaller than the Shoe and I'm not sure what the allotment is for visiting fans and I expect that to impact how many OSU fans will be in attendance. My guess would be right around 6-7K (which is about 10% and that's a pretty good showing for an opposing team IMO)
I looked up the definition of TMI on urban dictionary, it redirected me to this comment.
I've heard a few things. First off, Tech watched the new guys do I believe a Wake basketball game and another event and came away very impressed. I've gotten the impression that it will be slightly more difficult for students to sneak into other sections, but so long as you're in the same section, you should be good. How things will change in the stadium itself, I have no idea.
Unfortunately, that's up to ESPN most of the time, and they've realized they can get better ratings with VT in the noon slot than they can with an SEC team in the 3:30 slot, so they'll put a non-so-great game in the crappiest slot because it'll still draw big enough numbers (VT) and then they can put games that won't draw as big of numbers on their own in slots that will give them higher ratings (everything else up to prime time), leaving the biggest games (or SEC games) for the biggest slots - prime time. Essentially, the past few years we've been just good enough to get good ratings for ESPN, but not good enough to get bumped up to a better time slot.
It's the angular momentum equivalent of giving 110%.
Word has it that they put a mic on Bud, but it melted.
Hopefully, a bit better. Some of the section guards were on a power trip and it really detracted from the experience of enjoying the game.
I wonder how security is going to be handled now that RMC doesn't have the Tech contract?
Are there water fountains where I could refill said water bottle?

after he got the free release i stopped watching..
