Np man, thick skin.
And honestly, I love that creepy, creepy chocolate maker

I would have preferred this, but the money sounds good.
Excellent point that I didn't really consider.
As a logo, I don't mind it. Since it's the only blue on the court, it certainly stands out.
I'm sure it will look great!
+1 for this. May tech rain down sacks and flood the field with first downs
Never said he's done worse, I'm saying we see it less often, so its reasonable to be worried about an offense we are not as used to facing. Do I think CBF can make a game plan or ten to shut down OSU? Yes, because he is arguably the best DC in college football. Can his game plan not accurately predict what they will do and our d get knocked around for half a quarter? Yes, it happens to teams every week. Can VT recover? My opinion: not if it take more than half a quarter. Our offense is not tested, so we can't reasonably expect them to play like semipro players first game of the season. Do I want a hokie win? You bet your sweet ass I do
However it happens, with whomever it happens, I just wanna see first and tens. Lots of first and tens. Lots.
Hey, maybe we just finally realized that all teams that tend to be good at basketball have blue on their court, so why not try it ourselves?
Trust me, after having played qb, rb, ol, dl, and lb, I know the difference.

ha ha ha just kidding...couldn't help
I mean, that is their official logo (http://www.vtc.vt.edu) and the blue does appear to be one of the University's official secondary colors (http://www.branding.unirel.vt.edu/brand-expression/colors-typography.html).

# | 2016 Prospects Tavante Beckett, Patrick Kearns Cite Location, Coaching Staff in Tech Commitments Terrell Hall is a defensive end. What does that have to do with Yulee?
It's the glare. Those eyes. It's the glare.
Couldn't agree more. What's really scary is I don't care what scheme the coaches run, he is legitimate beast mode for tech every play
I think it's OK, but I would have tried to get "Carilion" in a VT color.
Then again, there's a half million dollars a year that makes that pretty negotiable.
To get the full effect of the environment, VT has to be in the game.
If VT has some early success, Lane Stadium becomes a distinct advantage.

I mean, it's not like online gambling isn't a thing. There's still time....

My goodness.... RMFW in today's offense would be ridiculous. Combine a guy who could find a hole before it opened and put him in a zone scheme... it's physically painful to think about. Sad times. How that guy was a 4-star and Smoke "ran-down-by-Bonner" Mizzell was a 5-star will always be hilarious to me.
I've seen nothing to indicate that won't be the case. Brewer looked good during the spring.

Not a fan of the logo... HOWEVER, I am a huge fan of 0.5 million dollars a year!
That's the spirit!
Make it so.

Yeah, that was part of my point. People forget how much Randall struggled in 2002 before having a breakout performance in 2003 following a great spring. I think that trend bodes well for Brewer this year.
If Brewer gets hurt? Then we may need to play him. If not, all the more reason to redshirt.
True, although it does lend itself to a snowball effect if we get a couple of big plays in a row where the team feeds off of the energy of the crowd. That being said, the only place that I would say is legitimately intimidating for a road team is Death Valley in Baton Rouge.

Yeah but if he's the only true play-maker on the team and the others are new he can only take some much pounding in a year. We play them late so he'll have plenty of wear on him from being hit and add with the combination of Ekan-ibal and Dadi coming down on him I believe we can contain him. Contain him and I think we lock them up, especially if the offense plays to their potential this year.
