Nope. Not at all. Still funny though.
The back ups are no slouches but just lack experience. The biggest opportunity now imo is we might be able to take advantage of the defense earlier for points and pound on JT earlier because they have new WRs.
I really just want to physically dominate as much as possible.

Exactly. I don't know why this is rubbing me wrong so much (maybe I'mm all hyped up over the OSU suspensions) but having 7 and 8 win SEC teams up there is complete lunacy.
I need to remember that preseason polls mean nothing (looking at you UNC) but the SEC bias is strong!
I imagine it went like this-
Some underling: "Hey coach, I have some bad news. Bosa, Marshall, Smith, and Wilson all just got caught doing something they shouldn't have."
Urban Meyer: "No big deal, suspend them for the first quarter of the Virginia Tech game."
Underling: "Sir, you realize you're not in the SEC anymore right?"
Urban Meyer: "Umm, first half?"
Finish the year on fire with back to back top 5 classes and that's what you'll get. Favored in all but 1 game this year.
So now we are damned if we beat them since they were not full strength and damned if we do since they were not full strength. I will still take a W if you please...

this statement from the Ohio State Athletic department vindicates the info the OSU student redditors dug up when trying to confirm/deny the rumors floating about their program. i'm happy that the Buckeyes on the College Football subreddit did everything in their power to dig up the truth despite the negative turnout for them.
it's a loss but i'm sure they'll adjust. as for us, well...
This was "athletic department policies" being violated, not "team rules." To me, that implies the decision was made above Urban and is pretty much set.
While a rumor, you may be on to something there. I do know he isn't exactly liked by everyone on the team and that has a lot to do with him leaving.
