This will get very interesting, but let's remember, it's still July. Many things can, and will, change between now and gameday. Injuries and other issues will probably arise for both teams as Fall practice picks up. This certainly helps us but we'll then hear how Bosa is this year's Braxton Miller and how they would have beaten us if they had him.
If you pay extra for club seats, you should get more. That's 100% of what this policy says.
29 feels pretty comfortable and appropriate to me, seeing as we're really riding potential and hoping to avoid the injury bug again. Arkansas at 20 jumps out at me though.
Perfect picture for the tweet just below it...
EDIT: Hokie13 beat me to it...
Excellent choice of article picture, Joe.

# | Top 2016 Prospects Visit Blacksburg for a Hokies Cookout, Pair Set for Imminent Decisions It'll be good if we get him, but he isn't a game changing prospect. Not much of a miss
Man, it was just far enough back and I've been to so many games, I cannot recall the opponent, but I do remember it was a Saturday game and my fishing clients had canceled last minute (dad had a heart attack, legit cancellation) so I decided to go. OOC game, minor game I do recall, and my cost was 40$, which I also remember. The guy was really nice and just wanted to be sure I was really a Hokie, but if you see me on game day, you shouldn't have to guess. I have apologized many times on this site for my faulty memory, I'm afraid this'll have to be another one. I think the guy was trying for more jack, but I opened my wallet and showed him my two twenties and he settled for it. Didn't show him the hundie I keep back for emergencies, though I probably would've gone as high as 50 since I'd gone to so much trouble to get to the game. Had to sit alone, though another of my clients was seated near by, but my crowd ain't in the rare atmosphere I found myself in. Great seats, though.
Oh my goodness. Part of me is super happy about this, but I wanted to beat this team with everyone playing so 11Warriors can't have excuses to lean back on
He has people in his ear looking at LB depth charts and encouraging him to pick NC State so he could play early. Shortsighted IMO, since it's usually a stretch for any freshman to come in and play early, but whatevs. If he wants to listen to those people and choose a depth chart over academics, campus, coaching, tradition, etc., then more power to him.
So I'm guessing Gary Patterson and Nick Saban both get to make first place votes?
Running back should be an interesting battle. If JC picks up in fall practice where he left off last year I don't see how you keep him out of the #1 spot.
Just out of curiosity, what other message boards exist other than TKP? I honestly don't know because all of my time is spent here
Yes, they know football better but they know their football. They are probably pretty accurate in ranking their conferences, but on a national level? Not so much.
They had an article about Saban voting a couple(?) years ago and he basically said that he watches maybe one, possibly two, games a week and they're usually who they play soon.
2 CBs picked up by NC State for Miller this morning on 247. :-(
Agreed. I'll buy a drink for that guy and the photographer if I ever meet them.
Thanks for fixing that up. I honestly remember only the wood issue. Doubt seriously if Bruce "chopped" the wood, though. Probably split it, hauled and stacked it. But, that's semantics and doesn't change the story. If he actually was delivered lengths of wood and then chopped it up with an axe, well, more power to him. That would be a real chore.
I just sat and watched this image for 30 seconds waiting for Robert Redford to do his approving smile. I hate when I recognize and like a gif but it's broken so I sit here like an idiot waiting for it.
I had that thought as well, but ya know, it may make a difference down the line. Their experience, and especially if we win a good game, may make them either change their minds or maybe tout the trip to future players. And in the end, as a fan, I feel like I'll be using THEM for my entertainment if they do come to VT, so maybe in the end, it all washes out. Getting ready to cut the grass in 90 degree weather, so I know I'll need a shower, unless I'm found deceased behind the mower. Hurry Fall!!! I'm ready for some football weather.
If we were returning this same team in our 10-win era, we might have been top ten.
Tons of chatter around some other boards that Keihn's transfer is directly related to Reavis's dismissal. Some insiders at one of the pay sites even hinting that he may have provided info to the school in their decision to dismiss CJ. Apparently a lot of the D Block is not too happy with Melvin.
Have no idea if any of this is true and I would hate to be spreading false rumors but I feel like it was worth nothing.
So true.
last year's pre/post rankings
On the other hand, these are people who actually know football rather than those that watch football or write about it. This is also why some coaches believe that there should be transparency every week to see who you voted for in the Coaches' Poll.
Predicting where a team will finish the season and ranking a team based on current status are two different things.
I think this is where the question of "are your preseason rankings where you project teams to finish, or where you believe they currently are?" comes into play.
I can see UT/Ark finishing in the top 25. I don't think they are the 20th and 25th best programs in the nation right now.

Sorry, guys, but that's just not looking like it'll happen as long as Whit is AD.
